Right-wing women rock
Looking at the shoes tells a lot about a female's political persuasion
By IAN ROBINSON
The recent election of Danielle Smith as leader of the Wildrose Alliance reminded me that among the many things I love about the libertarian/right wing are the women.
Could be our slogan: Come for the culture war ...

Joy Behar definitely has a big mouth, and doesn't filter much during the Hot Topics segment of The View. Today Paris Hilton stopped by to promote her new reality show to find her new BFF, and Joy said some things that didn't sit well with Paris.
Things started off by the ladies showing the Funny Or Die spoof Paris did spoofing the McCain campaign.

There’s yet another feud brewing among the women who host ABC talkshow The View. In Touch claims to have insider information that some of the hosts on the panel are complaining about how often executive producer Barbara Walters talks about her bestselling biography, Audition. Joy Behar has a book that could really use the on-air publicity, and Sherri Shepherd has a new memoir coming out, but neither have been allowed to mention their books much and are complaining to higher-ups:
An insider tells In Touch that Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck aren’t happy that Barbara keeps using the ABC talk show to shill her memoir Audition.

Ellen DeGeneres, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, as well as the women of The View are in the running for the honor as top TV host in the Daytime Emmy race, which was launched Thursday morning with an announcement on The View.
DeGeneres, of course, stars on Ellen, while Philbin and Ripa headline Live!
“Why does the industry like Ellen more than us?” plaintively asked Joy Behar, who, along with colleagues Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd saw her ABC program also nominated for best daytime entertainment show, along with the usual winner, Ellen, and The Rachael Ray Show.

Non partisan poke at the partisan media!
Winner!
“The fact of the matter is, the comparison between her [Sarah Palin] and Hillary Clinton is the comparison between an igloo and the Empire State Building!”

At a Sarah Palin rally in Tampa, Florida today, "The View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck slammed media coverage of the $150,000 in Republican National Committee expenditures on high-end clothing for Palin.
"Now, with everything going on in the world, seems a bit odd," Hasselbeck said. "But let me tell you, this is deliberately sexist."

Charlize Theron still hasn't changed her mind on wedding beau Stuart Townsend.
"I just know I don't want it, Stuart doesn't want it," she said on Wednesday's The View while promoting their new film Battle in Seattle. "Why mess with a good thing?"

Last week Kate Hudson told the hosts of The View to ask Lance Armstrong if they are dating.
On Tuesday – a day after they were photographed on a dinner date in NYC – he
played coy too.
"It's my right not to answer it," the cyclist said when asked by Barbara Walters about his relationship with the "adorable" Hudson (Watch above).

If I hadn’t heard it for myself, I never would have believed it. The “King of All Media,” Howard Stern, and the former “Queen of Nice,” Rosie O’Donnell, could end up working together on Sirius. The pair were once engaged in a vicious war of words, but all that changed when Stern saw her documentary “All Aboard.” He was impressed with the work she was doing with foster kids and children with special needs, and said so on the air- much to the disgust of many listeners.
