One of my college roommates spent many an hour playing Nintendo Duck Hunt and avoiding her school work (I was worried at first but she had this unnatural ability to ace classes despite her addiction and ended up becoming a brilliant Archaeologist). Needless to say, I was taken on a nostalgic trip down memory lane when I learned Craftster member Quacker Jacks has created a lovely and amazing piece of geek art inspired by the game. Apparently, Quacker Jacks decided to combine her childhood obsession with Duck Hunt with her new obsession of knitting and after about a month of on and off knitting, this gem was born.

We've planned the wedding registry, contemplated all the big ticket registry items and focused on the handful of gadgets you'll really need for your wedding day, so what's left? The honeymoon of course! One of my favorite honeymoon planning websites, The Knot, features a great packing list for your big trip.

The IDesk laptop stand is perfect for those of us who use an external keyboard with our laptops.
The ergonomic stand keeps your laptop in an upright position so that you can sit comfortably when using external peripherals. Plus it comes with six levels of adjustable inclination angles and an integrated USB hub with four to seven ports.

The Nabaztag, which is a little wifi rabbit that acts as a messenger and alerts you to everything that's going on in your online world, has been a big hit on geeksugar so I was pleased to see Roy Batchelor, who is know as the "Bunny Wrangler," at this year's Maker Faire.
Batchelor heads up Nabaztalk, an online community and forum where Nabaztag fans can chat about their bunnies, get help setting them up, and learn how to stream music and program their bunnies to do really geeky things.
You have to program the Nabaztag to pay attention to your e-mail, favorite websites, local weather and so on, so Nabaztalk is a great resource.

Ursula5977 recently shared some fabulous photos of my new favorite geeky crafts project: Her decorated Macbook. She says:
Out of boredom and lack of a hobby, I took the liberty of rhinestoning my beloved MacBook! It's almost to the point of tacky, but I absolutely love it.

By now you probably know I'm totally addicted to my beautiful BlackBerry Pearl and my fabulous iPod. Yes, they are definitely at the top of 'my favorite gadgets list.'
But what I want to know is - what are your favorite gadgets?

Just because Twilight madness is taking over the world, Joss Whedon is apparently gearing up to bring Buffy out of retirement in a wait for it…new Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie.
Didn’t we already have one of these already? Here are the sketchy details:
The monster success of girly vampire pic Twilight at the US Box office last weekend could kick open the door for a big-screen return of Joss Whedon’s much-loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I remember when online photo editing sites were practically nonexistent, and then I heard of Picnik, and I couldn't believe there was actually a free site that allowed me to edit my pics via the Internet! Well here's a list of 10 of the most popular (with some of my faves) from LifeClever that are easy to use and offer a variety of fun features. Thanks for geek gearing, TeamSugar user cutesy11!
