Believe it or not, there was a time when women used to "sit by the phone and wait for a guy to call." That was a bummer. Now we live in a hyper-communicative fog of tweets and texts.

Even before Barack Obama was elected to the presidency, Rupert Murdoch had declared war on him via the personalities of Fox News Channel, a subsidiary of Murdoch's media conglomerate, News Corp.
Since Obama's election, the cable channel's hosts and paid analysts have launched a full frontal assault on the president, smearing his nominees, calling him a racist and suggesting that his administration was trying to persuade disabled veterans to off themselves.
Now the fearmongers at Fox are crying foul since the president and his aides declared Fox not to be a news organization.

Democrats Called Foley Guilty of Sex Crimes
By Jeffrey Lord
The magic number is 16.
Just last night, on Sean Hannity's Fox Show, ABC's George Stephanopoulos said in defense of the liberal media's non-coverage of Kevin Jennings, that a person's entire career should be taken into consideration before they are sent packing from public service.
Fair enough.

Much thanks to Lt Colonel Allen West, who sent this to me erev Yom Kippur. Like Sarah Palin, West is a ganser mensch. A leader in the mold of Churchill and Patton.

When I snapped out of my left wing trance last year, I was lost in space. I had no conservative friends and was clueless about web sites and books.
I had heard something vaguely about Talk Radio. So I scanned my AM dial and found Michael Savage. (It took several months, and a chat with a rather bemused new friend, before I even realized there were other hosts as well.)
Being a lifelong liberal, I'd never heard anybody like Savage in my life. He yelled; he called people "vermin." He was unbridled masculinity, not the touchy feeling kind I was used to. And he totally accepted himself: his moods, passion, temper.
But what shocked me the most was his saying that men have become "feminized." I'd never been so offended. "Well, what's wrong with men being more feminine?" I shouted back at my radio. "Is there something wrong with femininity?" Men being way more in touch with their yin and less with their yang sounded good to me.

BUFFALO, New York — An Army unit is reviewing how it delivers information to families after a call to a western New York couple led them to believe their son had been killed in combat.
Ray Jasper of Niagara Falls said he, his wife, Robin, and their extended family spent four hours Sunday mourning their son, Sgt. Jesse Jasper, before learning from his girlfriend that he was alive.

I wanted to thank all my friends and family who have forwarded chain letters to me in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and continuing it in 2009 also
Because of your kindness:
I stopped drinking Coca Cola after I found out that it's good for removing toilet stains.
I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle infected with AIDS.
Forwarded hundreds of mails but still waiting for FREE DESKTOP, LAPTOP, CAMERA, CELLPHONE etc….

My bf and I have been dating for almost 3 yrs, we live together and for the most part, we are very happy. He tells me everything, even if it will get him in trouble, so we really have no trust issues in our relationship. I love him to death but the only thing that I hate are his prescription drugs.

EVER WONDER...why the sun lightens our hair,
but darkens our skin?
...why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed?
...why you don't ever see the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery"?

The chief of a coalition set up to fight attacks on America's First Amendment rights has issued a warning that Tuesday will be a pivotal point in the history of free speech, as the Senate Commerce Committee is scheduled to hold a confirmation hearing for Julius Genachowski.
President Barack Obama's longtime pal is his pick to be chief of the Federal Communications Commission, but is causing nightmares among the U.S. talk radio industry members because of his views
Syndicated talk radio host Roger Hedgecock of San Diego, who was picked by members of the American Radio Free Speech Foundation to be the chief of its Don't Touch My Dial campaign, said censorship, racial quotas for radio stations, and other new demands from the government are inevitable if Genachowski is confirmed.
