Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, responding Saturday to an article in The Bee, called it "outrageous" that the State Bar of California is refusing to let a quadriplegic law school graduate take Tuesday's bar exam because of a technical snafu. The governor urged the bar to relent.

Yesterday, I had a crummy, stressful day at work. It was one of those days when the higher-ups are freaking out about an impossible deadline at the end of the week, getting everyone else all stirred up and anxious, only to find out later that the deadline is actually two weeks away. It was frustrating and tiring.

These two weeks would be E-learning for at least CMC students, & it feels wonderful. Mainly because I dont have to wake up early in the morning to wait for bus, and have to squeeze myself onto bus so as to be punctual for class.( yet many times I am still late :X ) & I hate to stand near people I don't know, especially guys. I feet uneasy- regardless of age and appearance.

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 5 months and we get along amazingly. I have never had such a secure relationship where I can be myself 100% without being afraid. He isn't the "emotional" type and I can't really get a read on how he feels.

I know its only October but its never too early to start planning for the holiday season!
I found this handy chart for mailing deadlines if you are sending mail to personnel overseas:
If you don't have anyone specific that you know to send mail to, you can try one of these organizations who provide letters of support to our troops:

There's also Operation Ensuring Christmas which provides financial, moral, and rehabilitative support to children of the fallen - http://www.opchristmas.org/

Well, here is my situation...my boyfriend got an awesome promotion in the company we both work at and is moving back to his hometown next week (which is about a 7 hour drive from here). It is a totally great opportunity and I am super happy for him. I'm glad he is going to be near his family again and that he is furthering his career.

HAMILTON, Ohio – A pediatrician was convicted Friday of 16 sex-related charges involving former patients as his twin brother, a pediatrician who is awaiting trial on similar counts, looked on.
Dr. Mark Blankenburg, 53, of Hamilton, stood before the verdicts were delivered, as ordered by a judge, but sat down as they were read.

WASHINGTON - For all his flourish, President Barack Obama sure falls back on a few familiar phrases.
Make no mistake. Change isn't easy.
