You don't need an advanced degree in architecture or fancy CAD software to design in three dimensions; you just need Google.
Specifically, you need SketchUp (sketchup.com), Goggle's 3-D modeling program, which with enough practice lets you create digital versions of buildings, cars or any other objects you dream up.
Beowulf in 3-D freaking rocked my world!
Hubby and I went to see Beowulf at the iMax and it was the most awesomest thing ever!!! I'm totally fascinated by this technology. Obviously the graphics were outstanding, you could even see pores in the faces of the characters, the shape of muscles under their skin, little pearls that were on the queen's dress, every tiny detail.3D Ultrasound
While these aren't new, I didn't have this option when I was pregnant 9 years ago. I went in for a standard follow up ultrasound and my jaw dropped when she put the image below up on the screen. Here I was just 7 months pregnant but I could see that my unborn son had my lips and looks so much like my first son.

Christina to lend voice for new 3D animation film
KittyCA has posted saying that Christina will be a new 3D animation film, along side with Ben Kingsley, Samuel L. Jackson, Catherine Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas and other hollywood a-listers actors & actresses.
As part of this covenant, CDIL will produce the animation content for Motion Pixel Corporation over a one year period, from their art studio in Chennai.
