Website of the Day: TubeReplay

Do you ever stumble across a video on YouTube that you wish you could put on repeat? For me, it's usually when I find a hot new song or I have a favorite new music video that I can't get enough of. So you can imagine how excited I was when I came across a site called TubeReplay that will automatically replay any YouTube video. Just copy and paste the YouTube URL into the TubeReplay box and it will keep replaying the video, so you don't have to worry about pressing play multiple times. Perfect when setting the mood with a virtual fireplace, or when you are obsessed with Britney Spears's new song. And be sure to check out more YouTube tips and tricks.

There are not only millions of people watching videos on YouTube everyday, but hundreds of thousands of YouTube videos are being uploaded daily as well - that's a ton of people creating and watching a ton of videos! Wish you could watch your favorite YouTube movies in peace without having to stare at ads or other site clutter? It's totally doable thanks to a little website called Silentube. With Silentube, all you do is drag the little bookmarklet into your web browser, then the next time you want to enjoy a video in peace without visual distractions, just click on the bookmarklet. And voila, your movie shall appear all by itself.

I know that this long list looks scary, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, it'll be a snap the second time around.

First of all, join the Website of the Day group.
Click the pink "Share" menu on the top left side of the page.
Choose "Blog" and "Regular Post."

Click "Next."
Choose the audience for your story to "Website of the Day" in the dropdown menu.

YouTube Adds Movie Trailer Section to Site

It wasn't that long ago when we found out that YouTube started offering a nice selection of TV shows on its website, and now they have just launched a directory for movie trailers. I know it's fairly easy to find movie trailers online nowadays, but what I like about YouTube's format is the way they are organized. Cut right to the chase with specified categories like Popular, Latest, In Theaters and Opening Soon. Now when you want to convince a friend to check out a movie with you, you can either post the trailer on your blog or shoot them the trailer URL in an email. Now when you're perusing through Google News, you'll notice the little YouTube logo under any news story that offers a video clip.

What's great about the new addition, is the fact that you can watch the clip directly under the story - no need to navigate away from the page. Similar to how you can watch YouTube videos right in your Gmail inbox window.
