I've posted about wooden gadgets and accessories before, but this product is a little more rustic than most. The Enchanted Woods iPod Dock ($98) is made from authentic hickory and branches and is a docking station only — no speakers.
It's sold at Anthropologie, a store better known for its pretty dresses than gadgets.

Neiman Marcus suggests that you use this intricately carved Wooden CPU Stand and Keyboard Holder to camouflage your CPU, but my first instinct is that intricately carved anything does not quite camouflage.
It's a decor statement, to be sure, and not cheap: $200 for each piece. That being said, if it lines up with your decor philosophy — that is, whether you like your home tech hidden or if you're a big fan of rustic wooden accessories — maybe you're drooling over these covers.

Need a wooden laptop case to go with your Wooden Earbuds and Wooden Memory Stick? Monacca has some wooden Laptop Cases that are not what you would call rustic, thanks to their smooth, curved shapes and rich finishes.
The girlier Pink Kaku Bag and the more woodsy-looking Kaku Bag top my list of current wants.

I've seen a lot of wooden gadgets, and I've seen a lot of Skullcandy stuff; now it appears they have met, dated, and had a baby. I give you: Skullcandy's Wooden Earbuds ($99).
The woodgrain on these make you look like an earth-crunchy eco-fiend — and are probably the cleanest design on a Skullcandy product that I've seen.

Where does one begin with the Wooden Hand iPhone Stand?
With its dramatic realism? Its stunning hand-carved craftsmanship?

Come on, you can admit your Apple narcissism to me: you LIKE people to see the Apple logo. You are not so keen on cases that hide the Apple. Admit it.

You don't need to hang onto that landline just to keep a sexy-lookin' corded phone around; if you're a Skype user, you can use Hulger's Pappa Phone ($300). Like their ultrasexy Sophia phone, Hulger's Pappa plugs into a Mac or PC and becomes your vehicle for Skype.
But let's discuss what's really hot about this phone: Its looks.

Credit the booming green industry, because all things organic-looking are in! My favorite offshoot of this movement are wooden-exterior gadgets. Suddenly, otherwise cold and robotic-looking electronics become something natural — well, nature-like.

As much as I have championed the ability of the iPhone to replace two devices and it has allowed me stop carrying my iPod every day, I will in no way stop being fascinated by iPod speakers. Having all your music archived on an iPod, combined with a home speaker, makes a compact and comprehensive stereo system, which brings me to my next point: Thank God for MP3 players and speakers, because the stereo systems of old were so very bachelor pad, quite unlike the Vers iPod Sound System from Design Public.
To get great audio and your entire music collection, you don't have to outfit your house in bookshelves stuffed full of CDs or records or boat-sized speakers.
