Apple may be planning its own "spaceship" campus in Cupertino, but there are some companies that already have amazing work spaces. Whether it's cool design or awesome perks, I'm betting lucky employees that call these places their "second home" don't mind the daily grind. Check out these fun and futuristic spaces in the slideshow, and don't forget to submit pics of your own creative work spaces to our Capture Your Cube group!

All the Details on the Nexus One Smartphone

After much speculation and chatter, Google officially launched its Nexus One smartphone today in Mountain View, CA. With just a Google account (i.e. Gmail), you can log in to the Nexus One website and pick one up for yourself unlocked for $529 or $179 with T-Mobile. Not a T-Mobile customer? It's OK, since Verizon and Vodafone are hopping on board later this year.

The Nexus One is packed with a 3.7 AMOLED display, runs Android 2.1 on a 1GHz processor, and comes with some excellent 3D graphics. Shoots MPEG4 video on its 5MP camera that boasts an LED flash for those dimly-lit photo shoots.

The great news is that some of Google's best features come standard on Nexus One: Google Earth, Google Maps (with turn-by-turn directions and voice output), and Google Voice. There's a ton more specs to go over, so check them out when you

Battery lasts up to 10 hours on 2G, and five hours of 3G Internet surfing

Stereo Bluetooth

Compass

GPS

Two microphones – one in the front, one in back

Facebook integration

Noise cancellation

Custom news and weather widgets

Live wallpapers

Voice commands

Multicolored notification LED trackball

Custom engraving available

Avert Your Eyes! Streaker Alert!

We nerds need new ways to play dorky tricks on each other, and Rickrolling is so very early 2008. Here's an idea - web streak somebody! This cute little naked cartoon man is the product of the British phone company Vodafone, and it's at once the funniest and weirdest promotional tool I've seen from a phone company. "Feel unrestricted," they say. Very clever.

The Web streaker should be safe for work - I've watched him streak my screen a few times (what?) and so far, haven't seen any full frontals.

Madonna's New Album Comes to Cell Phones Before Stores

Before hitting stores on April 28, lucky Vodafone customers will be able to get seven of the eleven tracks off of Madonna's latest album Hard Candy!

According to the Times Online, songs will go on sale one week before the album release date and can be downloaded for 24 hours before being replaced by the next track.

Each song will cost 99p, with the hot new single, "4 Minutes" being available immediately for 75p! Now for the bad news, Vodafone spans across ten European countries. . . Which means U.S. fans are gonna have to be super patient, or wait for leaked versions to hit the net.
