A few years ago, Vestalife debuted its Ladybug iPod speaker doc at Macworld, and we all kind of fell in love with its design and shape. This year at CES, Vestalife is back with its new Firefly iPod/iPhone dock, and it's just as stylish, but without all the patterned fuss.

The Firefly ($130) comes in red, black, and silver, and has a soft-touch finish that you won't want to take your hands off of. Packed with two speakers and a rear subwoofer, you'll get some pretty great sounds out of this compact system. Perfect for your iPod, iPod Touch, or iPhone (all three generations), the Firefly took home this year's Innovation award for design and engineering at CES, so you know it's packing some heat under the hood. Macworld 2008: Vestalife Ladybug iPod Dock

There was a semi-dearth of crazy and creative iPod docks at this year's Macworld event, which, whatever their functionality, are usually great eye candy. Good thing I spotted this adorable iPod dock by Vestalife that is named for exactly what it resembles - a ladybug! Its two wings collapse when it's not in use for easy portability, and they expand when you're ready to rock.

There are a few solid, bright colors, but I really like the Ladybug that's hiding a design inside its "wings." I can't wait to toss this in my bag for a weekend away or set it on my desk to gaze at . . . I mean, listen to!
