Right around this time last year, I provided you with some easy instructions on how to
zombify your photos by using a website called Picnik. And with my new vampire obsession — thanks to Twilight and Vampire Diaries — I thought I'd show you a simple way to digitally transform yourself into a blood-sucking vampire, fangs and all.
Once again using Picnik's amazing effects, just navigate yourself to the left side of the page and click on the Halloween tab.

Interactive ads are taking over our tech! Late last year, everybody jumped on board the augmented reality train, which gave us a new way to look at marketing (come on, even Home Depot had an augmented reality gift card), and in case you haven't noticed — there are interactive ads in our iPhone and iPod Touch apps. Ever since New Moon mania died down across the PopSugar network, I have somewhat missed talking about sexy, pale vampires — namely, the Cullen family. But wait? What do we have here?

Vampire power month may be over (how appropriate that it was in October, no?), but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying to find ways to reduce our electric bills! We are living in a digital world, which means nearly everything needs to be juiced up to work. What gadgets and gizmos do I think the man who has been 17-years-old since 1864 should set up in his dark lair?

Next up in this week's Geeks We Love series: Jeff Rubin, the Executive Editor of popular humor site College Humor and the host of online video game show Bleep Bloop. He's also appeared in MTV's The College Humor Show and College Humor's popular iPad parody video, one of my all-time favorites. Here, his take on gadgets, his favorite board game, and whether or not he'd date a girl who could beat him at his favorite video game.

We've loved Felicia Day even before she made us LOL during her first The Guild music video last year. Not to mention the fact that Felicia has starred and guest-starred in several geek-worshipped shows like Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and of course the online sensation The Guild (Season Three is available for download on iTunes now, and DVD on Feb.
