It's been almost a year since I last told you to wear your geek on your tee, but instead of going all mushy on you, I thought I'd tone down the Valentine's Day love and just fork over a group of geeky tees I just can't get enough of. You're welcome.

Wondercon 2009: Loter

Although it seemed that the expo hall at this year's Wondercon was a little less robust than years' past, there was plenty of cute to go around among all that geekiness. Take Loter for example. Makers of tees, toys, cards, and prints, their booth caught my eye from across the room with its retro vibe. I picked up a few of their prints and cards on my way out, which remind me a little of the stylized art of Eric Tam, who draws the awesome 60's era Disney movie posters. Obviously I'm a fan of retro, so this little figurine would fit in quite well with the other nicknacks I keep on my desk.

Like my ongoing quest for the perfect jean, I am always on the look out for the perfect tees to go with my (fictional) perfect jeans. I think I may have found some that are near-perfect.

KStreet NYC seeks to find the perfect fit with their sizing that runs by bra size. Founder Kari Weiner measures her tees according to chest, waist and hip measurements. The pima cotton tees come in black, white and heather grey and are sized like bras, running from 30 A/B to 38 D/DD. I am kinda loving the Basic S/S Crew Neck ($65). But the tees come in four different styles and each style comes in eleven different sizes so you're bound to find your perfect tee, too. Then all you need is some standout jewelry and you're ready to shine.

On Our Radar: Gap Launches Limited Edition Artist T-Shirt Collection

Gap will be unveiling a limited edition artist t-shirt collection set to launch in select stores and online May 15th. In celebration of the 2008 Whitney Biennial, Gap has joined forces with top contemporary artists in producing limited edition artist tees. Some artists include Chuck Close, Jeff Koons, Marilyn Minter, and Kiki Smith with t-shirt designs ranging from political messages to colorful abstract confections. I especially like the bright burst on the Glenn Ligon tee. The classically Gap ad campaign was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin - Fab, as usual. Something to look forward to!

I just had one of those classic brain-fart moments when you see something and think it's clever and harmless, and then you actually, you know, think about it, and go, "Oh, come on." And with that I bring you this new Slide to Unlock T-shirt from ThinkGeek.

At first I was like, cool! iPhone T-shirt! And then my brain worked and I realized that it was an invitation your momma wouldn't approve of.

Call me a square, I can take it. Don't think it's sexist? Well, they're not making it in mens' sizes.

How do I love thee favorite white tee? We all have them, we all want them and apparently it's warm enough in LA that the starlets are wearing them with vigor. We love a white dress and a white tee has a similar effect - the feeling of freshness and comfort. Wearing your favorite white tee with jeans is a given, I say mix it up with a full skirt or easy breezy trousers. The possibilities are endless, that's what makes it oh so lovable.
