Ahh, Summer. Although I love Fall (hello, gadget fashion!), I can't help but get a pang of sadness knowing that this is really the last warm holiday weekend to look forward to this year. Summer is the quintessential time of year to travel and lounge around in the sun, and if you've headed out of town this season, you've most likely used a travel-planning website like Trip Advisor or Diddit to help you get there.

Maybe you're not going on a crazy European backpack vacation for your Summer trip, but you're surely going camping, right?
I don't care how old you are, telling scary stories around the campfire never gets old (neither do s'mores).
So if you are planning on pitching a tent in the great outdoors, download this Campfire Tales iPhone app, free and packed with stories for a variety of ages.

Even if you're planning a glamping trip this Summer (glamping as in glamorous camping), and you'll be staying at a hotel or two, we all know that there aren't any guarantees when it comes to finding ample outlets for charging gadgets.
Glamping or camping, the Globetrotter Solar Charger ($100) will surely come in handy for those who travel loaded with gadgets. This powerhouse charging device comes equipped with eleven connectors and connection cables (meaning you can charge you and your friends iPod, cell phone, DS Lite, and GPS device), it will work in all weather conditions, and only takes about four hours of sunshine to fully charge its solar panels.
