Skateboarding geeks unite; first you could bring the geek to your deck, now go the opposite route and put the memory in a deck with a 2GB SkateDrive ($22).
It combines the desktop convenience of a finger board with the memory of a thumb drive — your hands will be happy and your hobbies combined.

My BF is a skateboarding and gadget geek, and paging through one of his catalog's the other day, I couldn't believe how cool this Biebel deck was — not to mention how awesomely representative it is of being a skateboarding and gadget geek!
No, no one ever wants to see a cracked iPhone, but I can't help but think that it would be a badge of honor to a skateboarder (albeit a very expensive badge of honor). The deck's maker, Girl, also has extra cred: one of the founders is the crazy talented Spike Jonze!

Pottery Barn has added some youthful and colorful flair to their Smart Tech furniture line, resulting in a skateboard shelf that plays your totally tubular tunes. It comes with two built-in speakers, easy-mount French cleats, and a dock that’s compatible with most iPods. The models definitely rids the Smart Tech line of its "understated and hidden" reputation, but I imagine they'd be pretty cute in a child's room.

The first time I popped open my copy of Skate 2, I knew I was in for a different kind of skating game. Not only are you able to get a crash course in boarding trickery at the local skate park, but you can also roam free around the city of New San Vanelona — jumping curbs, popping ollies, accepting challenges and running from the police Burnout Paradise style. I later found that Skate 2 kept me entertained, but at times it would make me oh-so-frustrated.

Aside from The Hills, my other favorite MTV show is Rob & Big — it's a 180 from the drama of the LA girls, with skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and his BFF Big living it up a lot more lighthearted than their network neighbors. What they do have in common, though, is the frequent mention and featuring of gadgets and tech. The boys have an in-home ATM, a net gun, and spend plenty of time on their Macs and on the internet and "The 'Space" (from now on, this is all I will call MySpace).

We've all seen the funky TuneBuckle, which allows you to fit your iPod into your belt buckle, but what will the future hold when it comes to MP3 Player belt accessories?
If designer Kristian Paljasma has her way the Electro Belt will be the next big thing in geek gear.
It’s a belt with an MP3 player built into the buckle.

Mophie's new novelty iPod case, The Bevy is the first accessory to be released from its much talked about Illuminator project and chances are, every beer adoring shuffle lover is gonna need one. Made of clear polycarbonate with a stainless steel insert, The Bevy was designed to make the tiny second generation shuffle a little more functional. It has special grooves to wrap your headphones, is a keychain and best of all will open your favorite beer or, if you're underage, exotic bottled soda.
