This year, I was lucky enough to interview several familiar faces in the interior design world, and you were always eager to hear a word from the wise. But when Sex and the City production designer Jeremy Conway stopped for a chat about Carrie Bradshaw's new bedroom, you were blown away and full of chatter. Revisit
the interview here.

Guess what, Hollywood: Women like movies, too. 2008 has been a good year for proving that women can be a powerful force when it comes to box office dollars. The
Sex and the City Movie was a huge deal to fans of the HBO show and many other female moviegoers who appreciated a female-driven movie they could go out to see with girlfriends.

One of the biggest fashion events of the year happened in May when the highly anticipated Sex and the City Movie was released and
premiered here in London! Our favourite New York gals headed in to town and hit the
red carpet in their best frocks which did not disappoint. They were joined by a whole host of British celebrities including model
Daisy Lowe as well as British designer (who created the wedding dress)
Vivienne Westwood.

While Sex and the City author (and rumoured
I'm a Celebrity... contestant) Candace Bushnell enjoyed cocktails with Cosmopolitan after launching her fifth novel One Fifth Avenue in Sydney yesterday, Sarah Jessica Parker responded to rumours about the second SATC film. Following
Kim Cattrall's confirmation about the sequel earlier in the week, SJP has clarified that things aren't quite so far along as that yet,

The
Sex and the City Movie has just come out on DVD which is allowing us all to relive our fashion fantasies through our favourite New York ladies. Well, if the wardrobe has left you longing for Carrie's style then fear not as Patricia Field has the answer! Today her
long awaited collaboration with High Street store
Marks and Spencer is revealed and I am very impressed by the pieces.

I preordered
Sex and the City on Blu-ray, and when it came yesterday, I was greeted with a pleasant geeky surprise: A digital copy was included!
Digital copies have been included on a few DVDs and Blu-ray discs since the beginning of the year, but this is the first time I've gotten one — and with a movie that truly makes it worth it!
The disc is separate from the Blu-ray disc itself and when inserted, opens iTunes, where you enter the unique code that comes with your disc.

All of the new DVD releases hit stores (and
Netflix) on Tuesdays. So each week in
What to Netflix: New DVD Tuesday, I sort through the best of the batch and tell you what to add to your queue. In addition to my selections below, you can also check out the dreamboat special that is
Leatherheads and Simon Pegg's comedy
Run, Fat Boy, Run.

This month I'm looking forward to various acting treats. There are two big films hitting our cinema screens on 5 September, and then the excitement of live performance as a major US actor takes to the West End stage. I'm also excited for the DVD release of three movies.
