Used to be, if you wanted to be Santa's friend, you'd be a good little girl or boy during the year and he would reward you come Christmas time. But hey, those are the old ways of the world! Now if you want to be Santa's friend, you just have to add him on Facebook.

Yesterday I told you about text messaging Google for information, but how do you track Santa Claus in this age of information?
Beginning today you can log on to Tellme.com and find out what's happening at the North Pole, and on Sunday you can track Santa's path across the entire United States.
You'll hear Frosty, Rudolph or the Elves when you call and on Christmas Eve, starting at 7p.m.

After seeing this cute Digital Santa Clause Keychain on OhGizmo!, I knew I could find a purpose for it—even if it meant giving it to one of my sisters as a Christmas present. With a 1.1-inch LCD display, 8MB of internal memory, these keychains are almost as big as the colorful digital photo ornaments. Each keychain costs around $15 each.

According to a new Apple ad in the "switch" campaign, Santa Claus is a "switcher." Played by funnyman actor Will Ferrell, Santa jokes about the PC (as in politically correct) debate over saying Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, while also playing into the Mac vs. PC debate.
