Soljaro Solar Purse: I've Got the Power!

I need to see this purse in real-life form before I can pass judgment, but let me offer up my two cents from what I know so far. News has arrived that by the end of this year, for around $300 to $400, you can purchase a handbag that not only stows your goods but also charges your beloved gadgets.

The Soljaro Power Purse was created by mechanical engineering student Joe Hynek and works by charging up the purse's solar panels whenever you're in the sun. The bag is said to need about two hours of full sunlight to charge a cell phone, while a fully-charged battery can last up to a month. And it was designed in such a way that you can easily sit it in your window at work to charge up!

LED Lights in the Bottom of a Purse? Brilliant!

Rummaging around in the bottom of my laptop bag or purse is something I've just gotten use to. I've considered using one of those organizers that you move from bag to bag but the thought of lugging around something else in my purse stresses me out. Incoming, the Glowing Purse by architecture research lab Kawamura and Ganjavian, which offers a purse with battery-operated micro-LEDS that are attached to the bottom of the purse. You can even turn the lights on and off for those "not so dark" moments. My advice is to pair this purse with some Hot Pants lip gloss and you'll be a glowing sensation!

Love It or Leave It? Fiber Optic Clutch Bag

I don't think these purses warrant a "perfect for summer" intro, but they would be an ideal accessory to pair with the light emitting diode dress don't you think? Featured on 7 Gadgets, this luminous fiber optic clutch bag is covered with fiber optic fabric and synthetic gold leather - what is with all the gold anyways? Battery powered, this bag has a small switch inside it so you can turn the fibers on or off. I guess that means "off" for day "on" for night? For $173, you'd have to be an extremely high tech fashionista to invest in one of these. I am not that girl. What do you think? True love or leave it alone?

This one comes straight to you from my ninth grade crush, who despite never picking up on my flirtatious banter (okay, okay, I was 15 and wore too much glitter, it wasn't his fault!) has become a noteworthy geek in his own right. The Luxe Link is a simple purse link that was invented to keep your precious purse off the icky ground. Any person that's ever considered putting his or her favorite handbag, laptop bag or backpack on the ground in a public place knows exactly why this clever piece of metal is the geekiest thing since sliced bread. I like it because it proves gadgetry doesn't have to be wired for it to be functional, practical and chic.

Described as "no larger than the size of Beyonce’s hoop earring, the Luxe Link is portable, lighter than your cell phone, and easy-peasy to use." The first collection is priced at $45, but if you paid a bundle for the purse itself, I'm sure you're willing to pay that to keep it clean.

I'm all for a little glitz and glam, but I think that this Rhinestones For My iPhone case ($20) might take the cake for most blinged-out iPhone case I've seen. Honestly, it's a little too adorned for my taste, but there's at least one upside: finding your phone in a jam-packed purse just got a little easier.

You're killin' me Violet May! Not only was I obsessed with your hot silver snakeskin computer clutch, and your gold python BlackBerry purse, but you have to go and chum the accessory waters again with these new and limited edition BlackBerry and iPhone purses.

Just when I thought I could safely browse the Internet without pitting all other gadget purses against yours, you work your way back into my battered heart with your chic bags. The Violet May Limited Edition purse for BlackBerry breaks out of the previous mold by wrapping my BB in a silver stingray patterned body, with the signature python print trim. Although the limited edition is helping to ease my obsession with the shiny silver snakeskin, the prices are still way over my gadget accessory budget at $330 dollars. This python BlackBerry Purse by Violet May is not your average cell phone case, to say the least. For starters, it holds more than just your BlackBerry - business cards, money, notes, you name it. And it's one of those purses that acts as a gadget holder and fashion accessory, kind of like the Zac Posen cell phone clutch. The worst part about it is the price tag, which is $390! Forget the price for a minute; would you use it to carry your BlackBerry?

Cell Phone Carrying Method: Hand or Purse?

Isn't it always the case that as soon as you put your cell phone in that hot little Gucci clutch purse, you end up missing three calls and eight text messages?! Unless I have my BlackBerry on some serious vibrate action, there's a slim to nil chance I will ever know if someone is trying to get a hold of me- that is, if my phone is in my handbag.
