How to Become a Vampire (No Real Blood Required)

Right around this time last year, I provided you with some easy instructions on how to
zombify your photos by using a website called Picnik. And with my new vampire obsession - thanks to Twilight and Vampire Diaries - I thought I'd show you a simple way to digitally transform yourself into a blood-sucking vampire, fangs and all.

Once again using Picnik's amazing effects, just navigate yourself to the left side of the page and click on the Halloween tab. At the very top you should see all of the vampire options to start transforming your face. Just upload a photo and click on the desired effect to get started. All Edward Cullen-inspired features are free to use, except the VampiraScope option is for premium members only. Take a good close look at those scary red eyes!

How to Zombify Your Pictures!

Halloween is nearly upon us, my friends, and if that doesn't give you an excuse to make yourself look like a zombie then I don't know what will!

It's super easy: Using the web-editing site I told you about before, Picnik, just upload a photo with a human face in it, then in the create tab, and scroll down to the Halloween options.

Use the zombie brush to coat your subject's face, body, and clothes, and watch as the life is drained from the face. Finish it up with some blood stains around their mouth (because that's what zombies do), and voila! Zombie youth!

I remember when online photo editing sites were practically nonexistent, and then I heard of Picnik, and I couldn't believe there was actually a free site that allowed me to edit my pics via the Internet! Well here's a list of 10 of the most popular (with some of my faves) from LifeClever that are easy to use and offer a variety of fun features. Thanks for geek gearing, TeamSugar user cutesy11!

Edit Pics on the Fly With Photoshop Express - It's Free!

Being able to crop, touch up, and share pics from anywhere is the best feeling in the world. OK, maybe I'm exaggerating, but it definitely has its perks. I've been using Picnik quite regularly to edit photos online when I'm away from my handy-dandy Photoshop or iPhoto, and although it's great, I'm limited in what I can do. I was so pumped this morning when I read on Gadgetell that Adobe Photoshop Express has just launched!
The lowdown? You are allowed to upload up to 2GB of photos for editing, it's fast and uses flash, it has all the basic Photoshop editing functions like adjusting white balance, and best of all, it's free! Excuse me while I go experiment! Keep in mind Photoshop Express is still in Beta, so there may be a few glitches that need to be fixed.
