During my adventures at the Philips event in Portugal last week, I was introduced to this tiny yet mighty device — the Streamium Network Music Player. As much as I was drooling over the touchscreen Prestigo universal remote (review on the way!), I must say that this player stole my heart. At home, I usually connect my laptop to my home stereo system to listen to tunes, or else I pop my iPod on my portable stereo's dock.

Last week at the Philips event in Portugal, I got to check out innovative new products like the Prestigo remote and like this new device — the Philips Tapster. In the video below you'll get a sneak peek at how it functions, but basically with this Bluetooth stereo headset, you can easily switch between your music and incoming phone calls by using simple gestures. With stellar sound quality, a comfortable feel when on the ear, and crystal clear reception, this is going to be one hot little product when it's released later this year.

As a guest of Philips at their digital media event in Portugal this week, I was fortunate to feast my eyes on so many great new products — one of which includes an impressive new universal remote control. Stay tuned for the full review when I take it for a test drive, but for now I wanted to be sure to pass along some of its awesome features. Named the Prestigo STR9320, this glossy black remote puts other all-in-one remotes to shame.

I'd need more than a spoonful of sugar to help gulp down the camera pill that Philips is introducing. The smart pill would be taken with water and, once inside, would release a targeted amount of medicine.
I'm not cavalier about things I'll ingest, but if my doctor said it was cool, I think I'd be intrigued to swallow it.

The saying may be "beauty doesn't come cheap," but for this camera, it certainly does! For only $50 you can pick yourself up one of these ultra-thin sleek black cameras by Philips.
Here's the thing, it's a 3-megapixel camera, so you're not going be able to blow your pictures up to life size.

Last week at CES I got the chance to check out some of the Active Crystal USB Memory Keys from Philips and Swarovski. These Active Crystal flash drives are as luxurious in person as they appear to be on the product site. Made from polished stainless steel and silver shade crystals set in ceralun, this USB device comes disguised in a lovely lock.

In next month's issue of UK Vogue, Philips will be unveiling the Aurea: A light-framed TV, which is said to "seduce the senses and bring emotion, luxury and desire into the functional world of technology." Photographer Vincent Peters, Alber Elbaz for Lanvin, and Paris-based jewelry designer, Lorenz Baumer join film director Wong Kar Wai to create a campaign that uses the concept of seduction by light as inspiration, hence giving it the name Seduction by Light. Discussed on Catwalk Queen, this new "tech ad" is definitely a rarity in many high-fashion women's mags.

If you're all about the bling bling, you'll be pleased to hear Philips And Swarovski are close to releasing their Active Crystal Devices. We've talked about the line before, but I'm pretty amused by the idea of bling bling gadgets and gizmos so I felt like I had to revisit the topic after reading that Active Crystal website is taking down people's contact information in order to prep for next month's release.
The line up includes USB Memory Keys (that's the fancy Swarovski way of saying "flash drives"), as well as headphones.
