I don't think anyone is going to be convinced Pete Doherty has turned in his rocker persona for a more geeky one, but he deserves props for fanning off the paparazzi with his all powerful MacBook instead of say, a blow to the head.
Apparently, Doherty was leaving fiancée Kate Moss’s home in St. Johns Wood Tuesday, when he found himself being followed by cameramen.

You'd think by the way George Clooney is carrying his MacBook Pro in these pictures that he has quite the love/hate relationship with his gadgets—don't do it George, don't drop it! Whenever I'm in search of a legal Wi-Fi connection, I usually check out Hotspotr, a great site that lists thousands of Wi-Fi cafés all over North America.
For globetrotters or UK natives, you'll be happy to know that the Londonist has created a similar site which displays free Wi-Fi locations on a map of London.
Use this map to find Wi-Fi in all sorts of places including coffee shops, pubs and even bars.
