Pentax sure made a big splash in the tech world when it debuted its 10-megapixel, 720p recording, 5x optical zoom W60 waterproof camera last year. Till this day, people are still raving about this compact cam that puts some regular point-and-shoot cameras to shame.
Well, Pentax has just announced its latest in the waterproof world — the Pentax WS80.

It's beginning to look a lot Christmas in the tech-world, what with the profusion of white gadgets giving way to this, Pentax's White SLR.
The K2000 is going to be limited edition, clearly, and there's no pricing available yet, but CNET notes that the non-white version of this camera is about $800.
The only thing I don't really like is the black detailing, but I think I could live with that just to rock something so unusual.

Whenever I experiment with underwater cameras I alway seem to mess up the pictures. While I've really only used inexpensive disposable ones, the pictures always turn out blurry, dark and unrecognizable. Maybe it's my photography skills or the fact that I use disposable cameras...whatever the reason, I still have yet to master this skill.

In my daily online tech travels, there are always sites that I visit not once, not twice but multiple times a day. One of the sites in this daily line-up includes CrunchGear, a chic tech blog filled with gadgets, geek gear and up-to-the minute news stories. I particularly enjoy reading posts by freelance writer Peter Ha, who dishes about everything from his wild Seoul trip adventures to his first experience on a Virgin America flight.

Here's a digital camera that's a step up from the $43 manual Blue Jazz camera, but more affordable than the $300 Pentax digital camera. The Vivitar ViviCam 6200w is bold, beautiful and best of all- waterproof.
Featured on Chip Chick, the ViviCam comes with a built-in flash so you're not stuck with dark, blurry pics and with 6-megapixels, you're guaranteed clear crisp images.
