We received this question from TeamSugar member bluespirit who wanted to know more about free photo editing software:

"I've wanted a free photo editing program for awhile now but can't afford something like Photoshop. A simple Google search turned up quite a few results, but which is the best free photo editing program out there?"

Since you mentioned you'd love to get your hands on Photoshop, but can't afford the price tag, you should check out Photoshop Express. It contains most of the tools you'll find in the full-scale version, but it's online and free! That's right, free.

The photo-editing site that's rocking my boat right now is Flauntr. Flauntr lets you edit like you're in Photoshop or iPhoto, plus it helps get your photos out of your computer and into the hands of friends and family all in one stop.

So now that you've secured your perfect Facebook URL, and are all over the Twitterverse, you're going to want a selection of profile pics to swap in and out on a regular basis. I mean, you don't want your adoring fans and followers to get bored, right? So if you just want to crop a new and cool photo on the quick, without having to open up Photoshop or iPhoto, just use Mypictr.

Regardless of whether I'm away from my computer or not, I sometimes get lazy and like to use online photo editing sites for quick photo edits, rather than going into Photoshop, and so on. I've already told you about some of my top picks for free photo editing sites, but I've got another one to add to the list - Pixer.us - which offers more than just the basics (effects, brightness, resizing). It's no fuss editing online, and you don't even have to sign up for an account to get started.

Download of the Day: Picnik Firefox Extension

Well, lifehacker has just announced that there is now a Firefox extension download of Picnik that will let you edit any website image by right-clicking your mouse. No Photoshop, iPhoto, or other application required.

Great for those who are always taking screenshots or needing to do some quick online editing of pics!

A Simple Guide to Writing Your Own Wedding Vows

Choosing to write your own wedding vows can make for a special, personalized ceremony - but it can also mean late nights spent agonizing over each and every line. Your wedding vows are some of the most meaningful words you'll ever say, so it's important to take your time and consider all the possibilities. To make things a bit easier for you, we've come up with a few simple, helpful ideas that will streamline the process.

Set Guidelines:

Decide early on whether you'd prefer to write your vows together or individually. Another option? You can write an opening or closing line together, then personalize the rest of the vows separately.
If you plan to write them individually, agree on a proper length. Depending on the length of your ceremony, you should aim to speak for around 30 seconds to one minute each.
Consider the reading options. Are you good at memorization? Are you worried that your nerves will get the best of you? Ask yourselves if you'd like to memorize your vows or repeat them after your officiant.

Plan Ahead:

To stay sane, don't wait until the last minute. Several months before the big day, start a brainstorm list on your phone or in a notebook so that you can jot down ideas as they come to you.
Be on the lookout for phrases, quotes, or special moments you may want to include. Check out sample vows online to get an idea of which style and content appeals most to you. A poem? A list? A few simple sentences?

Gather Inspiration:

Step back and consider your relationship: its past, the present, and what you hope for the future. Jot down some special memories and funny anecdotes, then list the qualities you love most in your fiancé.
To get in the writing zone, reread your favorite quotes, poems, or even novels. Don't be afraid to deviate from the norm, either. Personal vows can be as traditional or as unconventional as you'd like, so get creative and let yourself think outside the box.

Edit, Edit, Edit:

Remember that you're writing wedding vows - a promise, not a flowery speech - so you should get to the heart of what you want to say. Be thoughtful and concise, and do your best to make every word count.

Nicole Richie Will Be Designing a Collection For Macy's

Macy's has nabbed Nicole Richie as the next designer for its Macy's Impulse capsule collection series. "With each collection I do, it all starts with music," said Richie. "Music is the driving force behind my inspiration." The limited-edition collection, launching online and in 100 Macy's stores in mid-September, is set to feature 30 pieces highlighting a mix of masculine and feminine pieces, via a bold peacock print from Richie's archives, bright colors, pretty chiffon pieces, faux leather, and tough zipper details. Furthermore, Richie says her line, "represents the many different layers of a modern woman. Women are wearing so many different hats these days. We are evolving." Previous designers who collaborated with Macy's include Karl Lagerfeld, Giambattista Valli, and most recently, Alberta Ferretti. Victoria and Harper Beckham Make a Fashionable Impression on China

Harper Beckham, in tiny Converse sneakers and pink jeans, cozied up to Victoria today during an afternoon stroll through Beijing. Victoria spent the day with Harper then changed into a sexy red dress paired with a snakeskin clutch, from her Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, for an event at Joyce boutique. The mother-daughter duo flew to Asia last week prior to the big unveiling of Victoria's latest collaboration with Range Rover. Last night she stepped out in one of her own designs to celebrate the debut of her Victoria Beckham special edition Evoque.

David, and the boys missed out on the trip; however, stylist Ken Paves accompanied Victoria and Harper on the international adventure. Ken's been keeping Victoria's hair and makeup looking flawless during her press events, and she's documenting the process and updating Facebook and Twitter with their silly behind-the-scenes photos.
