Guitar Hero and Rock Band are fun party games when you are surrounded by friends and a kit, but what's a geek to do when you're at your computer and supposed to be working, but feel the need to rock out? Put on your headphones and test your Button Hero skills and you'll have the answer.
The online game (I use the term game lightly) features a Last FM player and a single button you are supposed to rhythmically click along to the music.

Time totally stole my Website of the Day when they listed Kongregate as one of the top 50 websites of the year. On a side note, did you happen to see a little site called PopSugar on that list? Maybe you've heard of it?

It seems all geeks love Indiana Jones. Maybe it's his fly hat, maybe it's his guy-next-door yet heroic persona, and maybe it's just because he's a professor of archeology and an adventurer (read: Geek God). Combine that collective love for Jones with Legos and you get an awesome Lego Indiana Jones Adventure, a free (and fun!) flash game I can't get enough of this week.

Microsoft has announced it will extend its online gaming service for its Xbox consoles to all those gamers who use Windows PCs to play games over the Internet. News that is sure to please gamers like singer Natasha Bedingfield (seen here) and fabulous geeky gamer girls like Ingrid Diaz of Play Girlz.
Xbox Live, Microsoft’s online gaming network that serves some six million Xbox users, is scheduled on May 8 to open its basic and premium features to online PC gamers.
