I can't wait to pick up my own copy of Rihanna's new album, and if you're in the same boat, you'll be happy to hear about this: Rihanna will be performing tracks from her forthcoming record, Rated R, during her London album release party, and is streaming the whole thing live online on Nov. 16. A few lucky fans will also get the chance to win tickets to see the event live and in person from the UK!

From the six or seven cell phones I've owned in my life, two of them were Nokia's. Tried, tested and true, Nokia handsets will always have a special place in my heart. Now I know I have a tendency to talk about fancy new Android phones, and ramble on about the iPhone, but I know not everyone has oodles of cash lying around to spend on a smartphone.

The rest of the world has all the fun: Nokia announced its first pay-by-phone service, which will allow users to prepay to an account that they can draw from while on the go. Nokia is introducing this service first to Asia and Africa, while there's no word yet on when, or even if, it will be appearing in the US.
I'm totally jealous.

Welcome the latest netbook to the fold: the Nokia Booklet 3G.
The cell phone maker is dropping its offering to the market with the Booklet, (which they're calling a mini laptop), which has a 10.1-inch display, 2.7 lb aluminum body, integrated 3G wireless, 12-hour battery life, Bluetooth/WiFi connectivity, and Windows 7.
This is a strong addition to the netbook game — and it doesn't look too shabby either, with its option of black, blue, or silver exterior.

Nokia has some seriously amazing people making their commercials these days; remember the epic "Fourth Screen" commercial? Recently, I found a commercial that's been airing for the past few months for the N96, and they're using old footage of martial arts icon Bruce Lee. During the ad, Lee is is playing ping pong with nunchuks (in addition to flashing his image on the phone itself).
