The nice people at Mophie let me test out some of their new iPod accessories, including this neat Knox case that acts like a money clip for cash and cards and holds an iPod nano. It may sound like just another over-eager iPod accessory, but I found it to be incredibly useful and handy, plus I like the cool aluminum design.

The Knox allows you to take just the essentials in the ultimate wallet and iPod combo with you when you're on the go. It holds your cards, your cash, and your iPod securely in a slim shell of aircraft grade aluminum. Belkin Is Already Dishing Out New Nano and Touch Cases

From sport armbands, to silicone sleeves and even mother earth friendly cases, they've got a ton to choose from. You can expect to see these cases in stores across the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia come mid-September.

How-To: Make Your Own Mario Star Nano Case

I've featured some cool DIY projects, as well as some interesting iPod cases on the site before, but I don't think I've ever seen anything like this mashup! I caught this How-To on Crafty Crafty yesterday morning, and thought that if you were as much as a Mario fan as I am, that you'd flip over this adorable Mario Super Star Nano case, too. Although I've yet to try my hand at the project, I've certainly got it on my to-do list for the next time I'm stuck indoors, and will be keeping an eye out for some bright yellow felted fabric on my next trip to the fabric store!

Thankfully, the crafty maker posted a super in depth how-to on Cut Out + Keep so we can all get our sew on and keep our precious iPod Nanos nice and warm!
