Despite the fact that we've hit winter weather, manufacturers want us to believe waterproof iPod accessories are the new black. A company called Swimbelt has a series of waterproof holsters for iPod video, shuffle and nano, $39.99, that were designed to work while fully submerged in the pool. The belts are made of neoprene that is resistant to the effects of oils, solvents, heat, and water.

If you happened to treat yourself to a new iPod Nano (lucky duck) you are probably searching for a case that is both fashionable, functional and easy on the wallet.
Check out these hand-made suede sleeves which cradle your Nano and protect it from scratches. Although it looks like your iPod could easily slip in and out of this sleeve, the creators assure us that your iPod will fit snugly inside so it will not fall out but can still be removed effortlessly.

We've already seen a bevy of cases for the new Apple iPods, but the Sports Cap for Nano marks the return of our old friend. While the device allows you to break free from the wires that normally hang from your ears to your iPod, we find it, well, kinda funny. The hat hasn't been released yet, but it is scheduled to be released soon in blue, green, red, black and white, which just happens to be the same color as the new iPod Nano 3G.

As the saying goes: Many tried, but there could only be one winner. jendudley is now the proud owner of the iPod Nano and Chocolate gift set giveaway. I used a random number generator (shown below) and picked 445, which just happened to be the number of jendudley's comment.
