It's getting easier to be green and geeky these days. Check out this Laptop Desk and Mouse from Viva Terra, made from sustainable material bamboo.

Besides being earth-conscious, the set is impossibly beautiful, light years more attractive than those metal and plastic laptop stands you find in stores.

Sadly, green is slightly pricey here, as the stand itself costs $69, and the mouse $39. It's not all bad though, when you think of the benefits.

Geek Tip: Magnify Your Screen With a Click and a Flick

Sometimes, it's necessary to check myself before I wreck myself when it comes to squinting in front of the computer. My eyes are already working Internet overtime, and maintaining my vision is essential to my job. Obviously. Now, when I need to see little details in a photo (like figuring out what kind of cell a celeb is carrying), I magnify my screen using Ctrl + Scroll. "Click and flick" if you will.

Just hold down the control button, and scroll up with your mouse, and your screen will magnify for easy viewing. It's like getting one of those remote controls with massive buttons so you can see what you're pressing. Except, you know, it's your computer screen. Man, I'm getting old.

Juicy Couture Mouse Is Pink! Gold! Wireless!

I would love to be in these Juicy Couture design meetings - where they pick pink to go with gold, and then a crown logo! Yes, a crown logo right above this ornate script! It's gotta be upbeat.

In any case, the company that doesn't hold back has created a Pink Wireless Mouse ($55).

Sure, JC is over the top, but they don't forget their tech peripherals (this is the second pink mouse they've created), nor do they stick you with a plain black laptop bag - oh no. They have lots of frilly options.

Your Keyboard and Mouse: The Germiest Things on Your Desk

Yuck! This month's Marie Claire pinpoints the dirtiest things on your desktop, and what were at the top of the list?

Your mouse, at 846 germs per square inch, and your keyboard, at 719.

It's not that shocking considering that these are the two things you constantly have your hands on all day (minus points if you, like me, ever eat at your desk). And if you ever sneeze or cough with your hand over your mouth while sitting at your computer, you can't always get up and wash your hands right away - but the polite move of covering your mouth just became a germ-spreader when you put that hand back on your mouse and keys.

Are you a little bit leery to click and type now? Bust out some baby wipes and use my other gadget cleaning tips and keep your area germ free!

These star and strawberry mice look more like something you'd hang from a Christmas tree or even put in your mouth rather than connect to your computer! I guess there's nothing stopping USB wackiness, but could you imagine using one of these mice as your everyday mouse? Yay for fun factor and cuteness, nay for practicality and being ergonomically-friendly. These European beauties cost $44 each.

However you feel about Juicy Couture - I have some choice words for this laptop bag, and you guys also had some about this one. One thing is certain: They're relentless! No amount of criticism that their stuff is too saccharine or, uh, pink will stop them from making stuff like this Sweet Couture Mouse and Mousepad ($45).I have a toothache just looking at this, but perhaps you have just redone your home office area into a pink heart and flower sanctuary.

Gadgets Found in Chinatown: Downright Shocking

The touristy shops in San Francisco's Chinatown are teeming with gadgets, but it's usually overpriced cameras and items of questionable authenticity. But in one of my favorite fun crap stores, I found a variety of gadgets that will shock you - literally.

I knew the geek prank of late was shocking gadgets, but I had only seen the games, as evidenced by the Sugar office showdown! I didn't know there was a whole world of punkings to be had with hand-shocking gadgets, but in Chinatown, I found them.

Boss bugging you? Give him a USB stick with your latest "project" on it and watch his palm buzz. IT guy making fun of you again? Put this mouse on your pad and shut him up right away. Annoying little brother that keeps asking for an iPod? Give him this one!
