There was quite a moan when Apple introduced its new MacBook Pros last October — not over the lack of Blu-ray support or the price, but over the screen: new MBPs were presented with the glossy screen.
The missing alternative was the matte screen, which also happens to be antiglare, which the glossy glass LCD screen is not. For those who missed the matte, your agony is over, since Apple has added it back as an option for some of the Pros, depending on the size (albeit for an extra $50).

These days, adult Twilight obsessions are accepted (especially on geek) — seriously, pretty much everyone at Sugar HQ has given in and gotten hooked at some point. And if there's another thing I'm into, it's dressing up my laptop, so this Twilight Laptop Decal ($20) that has the apple cut out for the Mac Apple is seriously rad.
There's only one available, so I'll be surprised if it's still up for grabs by the time you see this post — although the seller says it could be available for you again.

Maybe you thought the PC-bashing products on Friday were a little harsh. Well, ridicule is a two-way street, and of course there are products that also bash Apple.
Naturally, someone somewhere made one of those Calvin-peeing-on-Apple decals — but for something a bit more palatable, check out these funny goods, many of which have to do with the spinning ball of death (the closest Mac equivalent of the PC blue screen of death), like this button ($1).

Most people open the same few applications every time they turn on their computers. Even though I go through a wide battery of apps during a typical workday, I generally always launch Firefox, Entourage, and iChat immediately.
If you're a fellow Mac user, there's an ultra-simple way to launch your most used applications at login.

Looking for a subtle and sweet way to showcase your Apple love without having to pin a colorful logo on your shirt or sleeve? Double or triple your dose of apples each day by covering your iPod, iPhone, or laptop with a fresh and fruity printed case or tote.
This Little Apple Sunshine Pouch ($8) wasn't designed specifically for gizmos, but it would make a fetching combined iPod, iPhone, and lip gloss pouch.

It's a no-brainer that Transformers star Megan Fox puts the fox back in foxy, but who knew that she was such a geek? On Friday night during Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actress admitted that she always wanted to be a comic book artist and that she still loves sketching up cartoons on her Mac. So let me get this straight — Megan Fox has a tendency to be irresponsible and immature, is the proud owner of either an iMac or MacBook, and she is an iPhone user?!

Have you been a Mac lover since the days of the Apple IIe, tapping out Oregon Trail with your chubby little fingers?
Then rock this Mac Daddy T-Shirt ($26) from Fred Flare — the soft blue tee flaunts a vintage Apple computer and will assure everyone who can see your shirt that yes, there was a day that you didn't right click.
This may say it's a men's tee and use the word "daddy," but shoot, I'm ordering a small and calling it a day.

I'm a Mac, but mommy taught me it takes all shapes, sizes and kinds to make the world. And so, I welcome the operating system variety in the marketplace and gawk at all the different models on TV and movie sets. I've already challenged you to guessing which way some of our favorite male characters swing, so now it's time to test your knowledge of the type of machinery our beloved geek girls rock.
