I thought I geeked out when I saw (and devoted much time to making) Mario Cubeecrafts, but now they're really trying to kill me with the cute - check out these new papercrafts of classic TV characters! Pictured here from left to right, we have Pamela Anderson in Baywatch, Earl Hickey from My Name is Earl, and Dr. Jack Shepard from one of my all-time fave TV shows, Lost.

If you've never done a cubeecraft before, just download the template, and get ready to cut out teeny details in the name of geek craft. It's totally worth it when you have your adorable desk accessory to show off to your non-crafty coworkers!

Lost's Fake and Freaky Gadget!

When a new gadget shows up on Lost, odds are that its presence is dubious at best. Those touchscreen satellite phones by the new other Others, Other-controlled ultrasound machines - if technology shows up on this island, you have good reason to be freaked out by it. I'm already scared of who the new foursome with those iPhone-lookalikes are contacting, and I think I have good reason to be: One of them is a ghostbuster! New character Miles has one of the scariest backstories in Lost history - he's some kind of a ghost-whisperer! Apparently spirit hunters like Miles need more than just their mind control though. He busted out this wacky ghost-busting gadget in a scene illustrating his talents:
Is anyone else thinking what I am? That this looks freakishly like the Dirt Devil I kept in my car in high school?!

Website of the Day: Find815.com

I'm sure many people watch and deconstruct Lost without the benefit of the Internet and the astonishing amount of clues that are on it, but I don't know why you would! Lost is perhaps the first traditional TV show that's extremely interactive (check my gadget review)! Since its 2004 debut, the show has spawned movie clues (remember J.J. Abrams' Mission: Impossible III credits-tribute?), a book by a fictional author, and coordinating viral websites like Oceanicflight815.com and now Find815.com. Find815.com revolves around a new character, Sam, who has lost his fiancé Sonya (an 815 flight attendant) in the crash and is determined to find the survivors, despite Oceanic's official calling off of the search.

This site is geek central - Sam has clues you have to find in his email on his laptop, a video diary filmed on his camera, and messages you can listen to on his cell phone (I'm pretty sure that that was my first cell phone, BTW). I have already become paralyzed by this website - there are so many clues! But do any of them have any relevance to what happened Thursday night?! Oh Lost, you terrible, wonderful thing.

I can barely contain my excitement for the fact that Lost is returning with new episodes starting on Thursday night. We've waited months after last year's cliffhanger, we're in the middle of the writers' strike with a dearth of new TV show episodes, and I need to know what is going on with the flash forwards of the castaways off Lost island. Are you one of the bazillion people obsessed with the show Lost? Apple has just posted the "Lost TV game" from Gamelot on the iTunes Store for (fifth generation) video iPods. In this action packed game, you control Jack through a series of missions spread out over 27 chapters. Jack interacts with other characters on the island and finds himself in places like the jungle, on the beach, inside the Hatch, and the Black Rock...searching for food and fending off attackers. Use the click wheel as a directional controller, with the center action button serving as a weapon and all-purpose interaction button. Lost Winds Coming to WiiWare

First previewed at this year's Game Developers Conference, Lost Winds will be a title to watch out for on the Wii in the upcoming months. Although I'm totally looking forward to the much hyped Grand Theft Auto IV, I do like a nice, friendly Nintendo game to have some fun with. Lost Winds has you playing as Taku as you navigate your way through the world of Mistralis. In this world, you are trying to find and piece together shards of a spirit stone with the help of the wind called Enril, which you also have control over. Using the nunchuck to direct Taku, and the Wiimote to aim Enril's breezes, you not only help Taku jump, but can push over rocky obstacles, light torches and spray water.

OK, so it seems to be a fun and interesting puzzle game, but it's totally pretty, right?! I love little Taku and his cape, plus it kind of reminds me of Zelda. Lost Winds doesn't yet have a release date, but word has it that it will be out on WiiWare very soon. Check out more screens when you read more

Are Facebook Photos Fair Game For Insurance Companies?

I just came across a story about a woman in Canada who lost insurance benefits because of a photo posted on Facebook. The woman was on medical leave from her job due to severe depression, and was receiving monthly disability payments from an insurance company. After she stopped receiving payments, she called her insurance company, who told her that she should be available to work because of photos she posted on Facebook that showed her looking happy and having a good time - hardly experiencing the crippling depression that kept her from going to work.

After the case started making headlines, the woman's insurance company issued a statement saying they would not terminate a policy based solely on something posted on Facebook; it remains to be seen whether or not the woman in question will be allowed to once again receive benefits.

I've heard countless stories of people being fired or getting into serious trouble for things they posted on Facebook, and even came up with a list of suggestions for how not to get in trouble on the site, but this case seems a bit extreme. What do you think?

Lindsay Lohan Is a Fan of Apple but Not Its Warranty

Although Lindsay Lohan has run the gauntlet of cell phones, she's become a BlackBerry convert and sticks with Apple for her computer needs. Lindsay recently lamented on Twitter about how her MacBook took a beating during her recent travels and ended up with a cracked screen. I know how expensive replacing screens can be, and unfortunately the star had to learn the hard way that accidental breakage isn't covered on Apple's warranty or by their protection plans.

Kristen Stewart Is an Avid Self-Googler

Unlike John Mayer who denies Googling himself, most of you have admitted to taking to the popular search engine site to see what the web has to say about you.

In November's issue of Allure magazine, New Moon star Kristen Stewart talks about her Googling habits. Like when she gets lost in her car and the paparazzi follow her every move, she says:

"After I come back from this interview, I'll look up and see what an idiot I looked like getting lost. You can just Google 'Kristen Stewart, lost, directions.' Or put the date in. I can't believe I'm giving away how to Google me."

It's OK Kristen, I'm sure there are many people who would like to perfect their Kristen Stewart Googling skills!
