Lego USB Hub: Love It or Leave It?

We've seen Lego coffee tables, a Lego kitchen, and even a Lego house. Here's my latest Lego-themed find: Lego USB Hubs ($20).

Available in four bright colors (yellow, red, black, and blue) the hubs are four inches long and have ports for up to four USB cables or devices.

It's definitely been a Lego-overload recently, but I have to admit, I'm a fan of this product, too. What do you think?

It seems we're entering a bit of a Lego renaissance with everything from houses to MP3 players being built out of the little bricks - but let's not forget about our Lego people! These little guys may live in your Lego towns, but they get into some sticky situations and seasonal shenanigans in the UK's 2010 charity calendar. Available to purchase online, the calendar benefits the UK's National Autistic Society, which makes me feel good for indulging in one of my favorite geek items ever, and makes a great gift for a fellow Lego lover as well. Lego MP3 Player: Love It or Leave It?

Is it just me, or are Lego-themed products popping up everywhere? I just spotted another: this colorful Lego MP3 player ($40) on ThinkGeek.

It has all the functionalities of an iPod, holds 2GB of music (about 500 songs), and features a digital display and USB connection. The coolest part: it's made from actual Lego pieces, so it'll snap together with any Legos you already have. Build-an-MP3-player, anyone?

The Lego Kitchen That Rocks 20,000 Colorful Pieces

I guess if I can't have my dream Lego house, perhaps I can settle for a Lego kitchen instead? Created by Paris designers Simon Pillard and Philippe Rosetti, the Munchausen LEGO kitchen was made with an IKEA kitchen island base, which was then entirely covered with Scandinavian Lego pieces. The entire project took about a week to finish and certainly gives a plain white kitchen a bold new look. I've always wanted to paint my kitchen bright red, but maybe a Lego counter top would give it just the right amount of liveliness it needs!

Irresistible Retro-Style Stackable Lego Sound Gear

I have to admit, Urban Outfitters is doing a great job featuring fun, geeky gadgets! The latest are two awesome Lego-themed products: the Lego Stereo CD Boombox ($58) and the Lego Stereo Alarm Clock ($38).

The alarm clock features radio or buzzer alarm, AM/FM radio, and volume and tuning wheels on top. The boom box has a CD player and line in to connect your iPod. The cutest part? They're designed to stack - the alarm clock fits right on top of the CD player, just like real Legos.

This Old House: UK Toy Master Builds House From Legos

You're all geeks, so I can confidently wager that you've spent a fair amount of time building miniature cities with Legos at some point in your lives. I know I did. Not only cities, but spaceships and boats, and forts, and . . . well, you get the picture. But James May, a toy fanatic from the UK (who has his own TV show), built a real house from Legos.

This two-story Lego palace, which resides in the middle of a vineyard, sports a working bathroom, and is covered inside and out with bricks pieced together by 272 Legos. Over three million bricks were used to build the Lego pad, so doing some quick math here - that's over 816 million Lego pieces! Sheesh. I wonder what they'll do with the Legos once James moves out?

Bling Out Those Lego Docks With New Metallic Options

Remember the Lego Block iPod Dock of last year? They were big, but they were only available in primary colors (not unlike their origins). If you loved them but thought, you know, I just need a little more bling in my block, then you're totally in luck.

Check out these Gold and Silver Lego iPod Docks from Fred Flare ($30 for the metallic hues, so just $5 more than the original colors).

The metallic docks and their Lego-ness are reminiscent of gold Lego earrings, which I was also pretty into. What can I say? Take something geeky, dip it in gold, and I'm all over it.

Gold Lego Studs: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?

Legos have completely infiltrated our wearables, something I don't mind at all. Not that I'll be wearing a Lego-print dress or anything anytime soon, but I love seeing how many different ways the toy blocks can be worked into clothes or accessories.

Which is why I can't hate these Gold Lego Studs ($6) - especially since they look like regular-old studs from far away! Look closely, and only then do you see the logo of Lego.

I like 'em, or at least like looking at 'em - what about you? Would you sport these in public?
