Maybe I've been spending too much time with my 3-year-old niece or maybe I'm just starting to come around to it, but I actually like these Hello Kitty laptop sleeves - and I'm not usually a Hello Kitty fan. Shiny, Pretty Marc by Marc Jacobs Laptop Sleeve

One random sleeve aside, I'm a huge Marc by Marc Jacobs fan (case in point: the Leaf-Print Case). From computer accessories like these to wallets and handbags, I rarely meet a Marc by Marc I don't love.

To add to the list: the Marc by Marc Jacobs Resistance Laptop Sleeve, a just-glossy-enough protective 14-inch sleeve with two-way zippered closure, soft cotton lining, and leather trim. It comes in two colors, basic black and a pretty blue hue. And of course features the iconic Marc by Marc logo patch. At $98 it's not the cheapest sleeve on the market, but if you're as big a fan as I am, you know the cost is well worth it!

Object of My Affection: The Henrick Vibskov Seat Laptop Case

Is $146 too much for a laptop sleeve? I'm willing to say no, as I'm currently enamored by the Henrik Vibskov Seat Computer Bag, a laptop sleeve designed to resemble one of those fabulously retro, beaded seat covers for your car.

Maybe it's because I don't own a car, or maybe it's just this case's awesome design, but I'm in love. It's constructed of black canvas and beige and red beads, and features a zipped closure. There are plenty of laptop sleeves out there, but to me it's almost like shopping for new clothes. By the time you've been toting one around for a while, you get bored of it and are ready to move on to the next one. In my case, the next one is this pretty quilted number by Knomo. The Baywater Laptop Sleeve comes in 13-inch and 15-inch varieties. It's lined with soft faux fur, and the embossed exterior is made from water-resistant materials.

Both sleeves come in three different colors and also feature a small exterior zipper pocket. The 13-inch sleeve retails for $60, the 15-inch for $65.

Stylish Marc by Marc Jacobs Laptop Case Is the Perfect Fashion Week Companion

In my mind, Marc can do no wrong (well, almost), so this quilted nylon number - which fits your 15-inch laptops perfectly - is just the thing to get you into the Fall Fashion Week mood.

Laptop Case Plus Pillow Equals the Naptop

My favorite find at this year's Macworld: the Naptop, a new kind of laptop sleeve from Trexta. The Naptop, which will hit stores sometime before Spring, is part laptop case and part pillow, perfect for flights or other long trips.

Your 13-inch laptop fits snugly between two padded sides of the case, so it's secure while you nap. A strap on the back of the case secures the Naptop (which functions well as a pillow without your laptop inside) to a car, train, or airplane seat's headrest. The Naptop will be available sometime in the next month or so in black and pink, both with funny and adorable sheep detailing.

While the Naptop isn't the most space-efficient way to carry your laptop while traveling, if you're planning on toting a pillow for your journey, it's an excellent and adorable two-in-one option.

5 Styling Sleeves From PKG

We first spotted PKG at this year's CES, and while their booth was one of our last stops, it was also one of the best. I instantly fell in love with the Canadian company's simple but well-styled laptop sleeves made in three sizes to fit your iPad ($39), 13-inch, or 16-inch laptop ($45). Each sleeve features a hidden handle that is easily out of the way when you want to store the sleeve in a larger bag. Plus, the designs are fantastic, the fabrics are fun, and the cases, themselves, are generally awesome.

PKG isn't in US stores just yet (hopefully soon!), but you can get a taste of their awesomeness by ordering through the website. Here, five of my favorite sleeves that are available now. Stay tuned for more from this great company - I'm sure this is not the last time we'll hear from them.

Incase and Jose Parla Give Your Laptops, iPads Some Street Style

You could wrap your iPad and MacBook in luxurious designer cases, but if you're more of an urban jungle-type, check out the latest addition to the Incase Arkitip artist collection by Jose Parla. Coming with some beautifully decayed designs, the 15-inch MacBook Sleeve ($180) has some true grit, while the iPad Book Jacket ($180) comes with a slightly softer feel. The iPhone 4 Slider Case ($50) reminds me of some doodles I drew in class back in grade school, but it's totally perfect for those who don't want a conventionally-designed case.
