If you're a runner, you know that storing your keys can be a challenge. Often, I end up taking my house keys off the key chain and tying them to my shoe or looping them around my finger.

So I'm loving this Split Ring Key ($7 for two). It's a key with the key chain built right in, so it's easy to slip off of your keychain and onto your finger or shoelaces. Better yet, they come in packs of two, which is handy for anyone who lives in an apartment building that requires two keys. The key blank can be shaped on any key cutter to fit any door lock.

Oprah Latest Gadget: An Inauguration Countdown Keychain

Oprah is going to be quite the busy bee this week as she broadcasts her show from the Kennedy Center Opera House, in Washington D.C., to be in the center of all of the inauguration action. Already getting excited for the big day, Oprah unveiled her latest gadget obsession - an inauguration countdown keychain - which looked similar to one of these during her Friday's Live show this past week. She noted that her new pal, Silicon Valley investor Sam Perry (who she wept on during the election night victory rally in Chicago), sent her the digital keychain as a gift.

Tao Finally Does The Digital Keychain Thing Right

We've seen a couple of permutations of the digital picture keychain. Some are oval and colorful, some are shaped like cameras and some are too chunky to be considered practical. The new keychain from Tao, however, seems just right. It comes in brushed metal (shown below), polished silver, gold and a black and sliver combo and costs $49.99, which is comparable to other high-end designs. I love the fact that they can hold 31 pictures and are PC and Mac compatible. They also run on a rechargeable battery, which makes them both efficient and easy to deal with.

Clip 'N' Go: The Key To Fresh Breath

The other day we received a few packs of Aura Clip 'n' Go mints and Clip 'n' Go Gum. The products, which are by New Era Brands, are actually quite clever. They're your typical standard mints and gum, but they're packaged in plastic containers that can snap on to your keychain, backpack, purse etc. Sort of clever considering I spend way too much time digging through my purse looking for gum.

I tasted the peppermint gum, and thought it was quite strong, it definitely kicked my breath way back into the refreshing range. I found out later that it also has teeth whitener in it as an added bonus. While the gum was strong, but pleasant, the mints were a bit so-so. They tasted like your generic mint, and FitSugar thought she might replace the mints with her own. I thought that idea was smart, but I would never get around to doing it. We tasted both the peppermint and the cinnamint flavors, and thought the peppermint was okay, but the cinnamint left a weird aftertaste. If you're interested, you'll probably be able to find these products in convenience stores, or you can buy a box of 12 mint packs for $19.80. They're available in spearmint, peppermint, cinnamint and sour fruit.

One of the best things about being a gadget freak is a constant stream of packages filled with bubble wrap. Sure it isn't earth-friendly, but no I don't know anyone who can walk by it without a pop or two.

Enter the gadget you never knew you never needed - but still totally want. The PuchiPuchi is a small keychain gadget that lets you experience the joy of popping bubble wrap over and over again. Apparently, the Japanese device features eight buttons that each make a popping sound when you press them. Even better, there are bonus popping sounds like "door chime" and "sexy voice" every 100 pops.

The Oval Digital Photo Keychain

Digital picture keychains are something I haven't had the chance to take for a test drive. I'm assuming they'd make the perfect gift for proud grandparents and doting soccer moms or even the party girl in us all.

From what I've read and heard, they are ridiculously easy to use. For instance with this digital picture keychain by Brando, all you have to do is insert the software, connect the keychain to your computer via the included USB cord and start uploading photos. This oval model is said to hold up to thirty-five images, but I'm sure that will depend on quality and size of your pictures.

Each keychain only costs $23 and is available in blue, red and yellow.

I know that this long list looks scary, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, it'll be a snap the second time around.

First of all, join the My Favorite Gadgets group
Click "Create and Share!" on the left hand side
Choose "Blog"
Give your photo a Title
Leave the category as "general"
Change the channel to "technology and gadgets"
Add keyword(s) (for example mine for this photo was "My Favorite Gadgets")
Click on the "Add Image" link below the "body" box
A popup window will happen - click on "Browse" to find your image on your computer
Once you have the image chosen, click "Submit"
The popup will show you your image, choose size: "normal" - if you want, you can give it a title (which will show up as a caption)
Click "Insert" and the popup will go away
Your "body" box will now have some text in it. Leave it as is. If you want to add some text before the picture, do it before the code that has appeared.
Click Submit
