To round out a day of jokes on April Fools' Day, CBS's I Get That a Lot prank show featured celebrities working regular-guy jobs and pretending to not be their recognizable selves. My favorite was Jessica Simpson as IT, helping out customers with support for their Macs at a place called Mac Enthusiast. Of course, she acts just as ditzy as you'd expect, and is actually quite funny.

First we saw Paris Hilton Learn Computer Skills, now Jessica Simpson is taking her stab at technology by discussing the internet. Actually, it's Simpson playing a fictional character of herself called "Jessica Sampson" in an old sitcom pilot for ABC. Here's a snip it of just one of the ridiculous lines from the skit (in reference to the internet of course):"it's a bookshelf with different books of all books"...

We already know that celebs like Jennifer Garner, Britney, LC, Jennifer Aniston, Fergie and Jessica Simpson are constantly attached to their cell phones and PDAs, but this is a rare sight- Beyonce actually holding a cell phone that is (gasp) connected to an earpiece? No the paparazzi didn't catch Beyonce out for an afternoon stroll. The real reason she's all wired up is because she just landed a deal with Samsung electronics and is shown here filming the first commercial in NYC.

According to Techdirt, technological advancements like the camera phone have taken the average Joe and turned him into a 'citizen journalist.' They say that "everyday people with camera phones are driving photographers' fees down to new lows." Most cell phones, including my lovely BlackBerry pearl have built-in, picture-ready cameras.
