When this celebrity checks into a hotel, he requests an entire floor, a private fitness studio, an extra-large stereo, and a PlayStation and a Nintendo as well. He not only likes to get his game on, but he likes his room so fresh and so clean. The entire floor's air-conditioning filters must be changed upon his arrival and door handles need to be disinfected every few hours.

Last night I put on my party dress and attended the star-studded BlackJack II by Samsung launch party in LA. Held at the hot new Mexican restaurant Beso (which officially opens mid-December) and hosted by self-confessed gadget girl Eva Longoria, my partner in crime Molly and I rocked out to a special performance by Mark Ronson and the Version Players and, best of all, got to check out the BlackJack II.
The AT&T exclusive Samsung BlackJack is a lot sleeker then I envisioned, and I was thoroughly impressed with the large 2.2-inch color display screen.

It's certainly been awhile since we've heard anything about the BlackJack II smartphone by Samsung, so I'm not surprised that some freshly painted pink and blue BlackJack II's have been spotted in the wild — even though it's usually Palm making all the cell phone color changes.
AT&T hasn't confirmed this great news just yet, but these candy colored phones are said to already be arriving in stores across the country and will cost around the same price as the basic black and wine colored BJ II's. Considering they're affordable and include geeky goodies like built-in GPS and Windows Mobile 6, these may be worth watching out for.

After my brief encounter with the BlackJack II at the Samsung/AT&T launch party in LA, I knew that I needed a one-on-one test drive session with this new sleek smartphone. What's great about this wine colored phone is the fact that it is lightweight, yet it feels sturdy and durable. Since the back is lined with a soft leather-like material, you can easily grip the phone in your hand while making a call or checking messages.

The HTC Snap has been in stores since the beginning of June, but I wanted to wait until I got my hands on one to give you a run down on its features. At first glance, the HTC Snap has a BlackBerry look to it, more so a BlackBerry Bold than a BlackBerry Curve . .

Gearing up to hit store shelves next Tuesday, the Samsung Jack from AT&T is a nice cross between the BlackJack and BlackJack II except it offers Windows Mobile 6.1, WiFi and a 3.2-megapixel camera. And just like the BlackJack II (and the iPhone), it will work on AT&T's 3G network, so you're guaranteed speedy Internet browsing, emailing, and SMS-ing.
The phone also features video-capture capabilities, GPS-based applications, and all the goodies you'd find in Windows Mobile like the ability to manage Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents from your phone.

Oddly enough, Ozzy Osbourne — who has already worked his geek mojo for World of Warcraft — has just teamed up with Samsung to help catapult the new Samsung Jack Windows smartphone into drool-worthy gadget status. This cheeky new commercial features Ozzy having some issues with his personal assistants and shows how his Samsung Jack could easily replace them. My favorite part?

Holy adorableness! These stuffed animal iPod docks, or Printed Rockin' Plushes, have to be the most precious iPod speakers on the market.
The black and white polka-dot kangaroo or pink patterned bear are both on sale for $35-$39 from PB Kids, and inside their little pouches are iPod jacks and amps.
