Vizuex iWear Theater Glasses: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?

I've spent many long flights wishing that the screen on my iPod were as big as my TV's. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather watch my own movies on a tiny screen than whatever is playing in the cabin that day, but let's be honest - iPod screens are pretty darn small.

So when I saw these Vizuex iWear Glasses ($250) that allow you to watch movies and play games from your iPod and gaming console in 16:9 aspect ratio (it's like watching a 52-inch display from nine feet away) just by connecting the cable to your chosen device and slapping on the glasses, I got a little excited. Does this mean the eye straining days of watching movies on my iPod are over?

Created by Hungarian designer Peter Zsolt Koren, the ModYFire iWear can transform pieces of clothing into personal iPod holders. Featured on Gizmodo, the case itself hides under your jeans, jacket or T-shirt (as long as its 1mm thick) and can be attached and detached with one movement. Surprisingly, it moves freely with your clothes and will hold your iPod securely. If you happen to have a first or second generation iPod nano, you can get one of these 'make a statement without saying a word' iPod holders for $50. Let me know your thoughts, all I can say is I'll need to see someone else wearing the ModYFire before I'll entertain the idea.
