This Simple Charger Juices Your iPhone Without a Cord

I love this charger! The Cordless Wall Charger For iPhone ($30) is a white, one-piece charger that plugs into an outlet and charges your iPhone - no cord required! I, for one, not only struggle with cord management, but I'm also the victim of frequent frayed connector cords, probably from taking my corded charger with me everywhere I go.

The charger pivots for easy access to the port and will charge all models of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and most other iPods, including the Nano.

A Take-Anywhere iPod and iPhone Charger

Perfect for anyone who's constantly on-the-go and doesn't want to be bothered carrying two separate chargers, the 2-in-1 Wall and Car Charger from InCase ($33) will charge your iPod or iPhone in the car via a traditional car charger, but features a built-in wall socket, too.

As someone who too frequently leaves chargers behind in hotel rooms and rental cars, having just one to worry about (and knowing that one charger was vital to my iPhone's usage) would help keep forgetfulness at bay.

6-Way Charging With The Chargepod

This useful gadget should be labeled the charger of all chargers, or at least celebrated for its shape. With the callpod charger by Chargepod you can charge not one, not two, but six devices at once with a little extra arty flare. I probably would have laughed at this invention five years ago, but now that almost every device needs to be charged via USB it seems more than practical. You can use it for your PDA, iPod, cell phone, headsets, MP3 players and other devices (regardless of the manufacturer or model-just don't try to charge your laptop) with only one single power cord. Featured on Gizmodo, this fantastic charger will eliminate the multiple chargers lingering in your purse or drawer...not to mention the time you will save trying to decipher which charger goes with each gadget! When I first saw a price of $50, I thought score - That's less than $10 per individual gadget charger. But then I realized the exact opposite was true, each adapter on top of the base charger is $10 extra, which means the callpod will cost you $110 for all six adapters.
Gear Review: Lark Silent Alarm Clock

You can count me as one of the 30 percent of people who don't get enough sleep every night, so when Lark sent me its silent alarm clock ($100) to test a couple months ago, I was all about it. Since then, I've been using it pretty regularly, here's what I think of the alarm clock.

First, here's what it is: The Lark is part app (compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad only at the moment, but an Android version seems imminent), part motion-sensing wristband that vibrates to wake you up and tracks your sleep quality throughout the night. It promises to both help you wake up more naturally and without disturbing your bedmate and change your personality from sleep-deprived night owl to well-rested morning lark. Included in the package is the Lark sensor, wristband, and charging dock where you plug your wristband into when you wake up - both to shut off the vibrating alarm and ensure that your wristband has enough juice to monitor your sleeping stats for the next night. The charging dock includes a USB port to connect your iPhone charger to it, so you don't have to use two sockets for each.

Who it's for: The Lark is useful if you have a partner and you both wake up at different times. Since it's a silent alarm clock, it rouses you with a series of vibrations through your wristband, so if your normal wake-up call is earlier than your bedmate's, your partner can snooze away without being disturbed. That may or may not be valuable enough for you to justify the $100 price tag, but it is an effective solution. Besides the alarm clock portion, the Lark app tracks several sleeping stats: how many hours you slept as well as how many times you woke up during the night and how long it took you to fall asleep (both based on your movements).

Keep reading for my thoughts on the Lark alarm clock.

MiniDock Minimizes the Cord Mess

A simple way to make a house organized is to clear the cord clutter. You could pick up the pricey iPhone charging on the floor, but there's any easier solution. The Bluelounge MiniDock ($20) plugs into the USB port of an iPhone or iPod power adapter for a wall-mounted docking station minus the cord tangle. Compatible with even the iPod Nano, so say "hello" to your tidier tech life.
