I love dressing my iPhone for the season with a cute themed case — and this one is definitely the cutest I've seen in a while! Just in time for Halloween, the Monster iPhone Cover ($35) comes in two fuzzy colors:

I'm all for emergency measures to keep your gadgets protected, like using a pillowcase as a sub for a laptop sleeve.
This tip for smaller gadgets came to me while I was rummaging through my junk drawer — you can use a soft sunglasses case, the kind that's made out of that thick, soft spongy material (not unlike a mouse pad) and slide your iPhone, iPod, (or if it's slim enough, camera) inside. And it's much better than a sock!

I'm used to seeing designer Jonathan Adler's work on CasaSugar, but I was rewarded today when I browsed around his mod website to find accessories for the gadget queen in me. This Cell Phone Cozy and MP3 Case are $48 each — and I want them both.
The needlepoint cases are on the same kind of usual Adler level — thoroughly modern, but with an element (in this case, the needlepoint) that's totally vintage chic.

When I wasn't checking out the new Apple goods at Macworld, I had my eye out for new accessories; mainly, I'm eager to see what new spin on iPhone cases there are. The Contour Cases' booth managed to change my mind a little about silicone cases by showing off bright colors and slimmer profiles.
It seems like the vast majority of iPhone and iPod Touch cases are silicone right now, and knowing its durability, it's no shocker, but I hate putting my hand in my bag and touching something that feels like a tire tread.

I've featured some cool DIY projects, as well as some interesting iPod cases on the site before, but I don't think I've ever seen anything like this mashup! I caught this How-To on Crafty Crafty yesterday morning, and thought that if you were as much as a Mario fan as I am, that you'd flip over this adorable Mario Super Star Nano case, too. Although I've yet to try my hand at the project, I've certainly got it on my to-do list for the next time I'm stuck indoors, and will be keeping an eye out for some bright yellow felted fabric on my next trip to the fabric store!

New iPod cases by Marubeni have just surfaced on the web, and I'm curious to know what you think of them. My initial reaction was a yay, especially since Summer is right around the corner and the zesty lime green is totally calling my name. And the woven material on the outside adds a nice "earthy" touch, which would compliment my woven beach bag nicely.

Free People has just come out with some hip new carrying cases for your iPod Touch and/or iPhone. These multi-colored embroidered Checker Board Holders are sure to protect your beloved gadgets while offering a uniqueness other cases seem to lack.
If you're not loving this pattern, but dig Free People's designs, check out the Encrusted Ribbons case — it's the same size (4 1/2" long x 3 1/4" wide) and a bit cheaper, this one is priced at $28, whereas the Encrusted Ribbons case only costs $24.
