I'm into monogramming so I instantly fell for the iPhone iPod Personalized Holder, $9.99. Created by Etsy user JTstitches, the holder is one in a series of personalized gadget holders with machine embroidery of music notes and your "iName." The cases have a velcro closure and are made of black cotton fabric (other colors available).

We already knew the "i" craze had passed the point of no return, but it looks like "pod" mania may be gaining speed in the race.
Yesterday I learned about the Apod, or Asthma Pod, which is a colorful plastic case that clips around your standard asthma inhaler. They cost about $20 (or £10 because it's a British company) and come in 7 colors.

The Google blogspot has just announced an upgrade to Google Desktops—which basically helps you pimp out your personalized Google page even more. If you have Google Desktop 5.5 Beta, you can now add desktop gadgets on your iGoogle homepage from the iGoogle Content Directory. All you have to do is click "add it now", drag them where you want them and press shift to show or hide each gadget.

I know, stocking stuffers haven't even crossed your mind yet, but now that I'm starting to whip up my holiday gift guides, I can't help but think about gadgets and gizmos that would make perfect Christmas gifts.
I found this adorable little battery-operated desktop speaker from the Container Store that only costs $10 and works with any iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPods — hello! Great inexpensive gift!

I talk a lot of game about keeping your cell phones and MP3 players safe and covered, but guess what — I don't always take my own advice. For example, my iPod is not covered most of the time, and I sometimes let my iPhone run naked in my bag. Bad news, I know.

A recent survey released by Retrevo (an electronics shopping site) comparing iPhone and Blackberry users paints an interesting picture. The respondents are 445 iPhone and BlackBerry owners distributed across gender, age, income, and location in the US. Highlights include:
- 35 percent of iPhone users would be turned off by a date with outdated gadgets.
- iPhone owners use their phones more — they claim to consume more adult content, videos, news, and sports scores.
- iPhone owners text more often than BlackBerry users.
- iPhone owners claim to be more extroverted, bigger jocks, and more intellectual.
I use both a BlackBerry and an iPhone, so I'm not sure how I feel about the results of the survey.

I'm not one to pay for a movie ticket, then sneak into a second without paying (although I know some people who dabble in the art of creating their own double feature), so finding this website made me both laugh and point my mouse to my bookmark button. Double Feature Finder finds movies that run back to back so you can buy your tickets at the counter on your way into one flick, then head into another without having to go back out to stand in another line.
Just put in the title of the movie that you want to see, and DFF will spit out a list of other flicks that trail your preferred film at the same theater so you can check it out right after.
