Since most of you are fans of the online video streaming site Hulu, you may be interested in knowing that it's possible to watch some of your favorite Hulu TV shows or movies on your television using your Wii. All you need is an Internet connection, a Wii (which just so happened to go on sale today!), a PC computer (sorry Mac-heads) and PlayOn (this video will show you how to download it for free). Overall, a pretty simple way to watch Hulu content on your TV!

Since most of you use Hulu and it's being rumored that the free streaming video site is soon going to launch a subscription service, I'm wondering if many of you would considering jumping ship and getting rid of your cable service? Not a ton of details have been revealed about the subscription service, but it will most likely offer content without ads, or more access to television shows and movies. If I could access all of my favorite shows that I'm watching now online, I'd be all for it, but that would mean every TV network would have to jump on board, and I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Hulu isn't gonna know what hit them now that YouTube has launched a new television show section on its website, which includes categories like family, sports, comedy, romance, and even movies! What's great is that there's already a wide selection of shows, including classics like Alf, MacGyver, and 90210 — I know, ALF! Word has it that YouTube has signed agreements to distribute content from Sony, Lions Gate, CBS, MGM, and more, so hopefully the selection of shows keeps growing.

I've appreciated Hulu since its inception, but didn't really know how far reaching it had become, but in February it made an impressive showing, gaining 10 million viewers and launching itself into the number four video site in the US.
When I miss a show and didn't DVR, I use Hulu, if it's on Hulu. If I'm not at home and have time to kill and a WiFi connection, like waiting for an airplane, I use Hulu.

The online TV and movie streaming site Hulu has just launched some highly configurable widgets that can easily be embedded on your iGoogle page or on social networking sites like Facebook. New Hulu widgets include the player widget, Summer widget, show and movie widget, and picks widget, so you can select the best one to suit your needs.
With the widgets, you'll constantly get updates on the most popular or recently added videos, and you can even watch all your favorite vids from the widget, making it that much easier to watch TV while at work — shh, did I just say that?!
