Sep 25 2008 - 4:00am I can't tell you enough how important email and online security is! I've been a little obsessed with the recent Sarah Palin email hacking scandal, but have put off saying much about it — until now. The suspected hacker — a 20-year old University of Tennessee student, and son of state representative Mike Kernell — was seen in front of the Grand Jury on Tuesday, and was let go without an indictment.

i think that it's really scary to think that some random person could hack into a personal email account, but i guess that does teach us to be a bit smarter about things right? i wonder who the REAL hacker was if they didn't indit the kid. hmm...i also wonder what that did to the reputation of the father who's also in politics. they should all know better don't you think?

Here is my issue with what happened... why was she even using a free service like Yahoo to receive work emails. You mean to tell me that there isnt an alaska.gov email address that she can use?
