Geeky camera jewelry generally falls in one of several categories: over-the-top geeky, sweet and kitchy, or maybe priced higher than an actual camera. I'm still undecided about this funky Camera Obscura Necklace ($14) from ModCloth, but I dig the idea of wearing what you love on your sleeve. Or in this case around your neck.

Don't let the picture fool you - this isn't a tiny piece. It's a bold accessory with the acrylic charm coming in at over two inches long! What do you think - would you rock this necklace?

When it comes to video game motifs making the leap from screen to accessory, Space Invaders has everybody beat.

Whether they're on a minidress, an ice cube tray, or even a cutting board, the pixelated characters remain a favorite.

The gold Space Invader Necklace by Han Cholo is a logical transition - it was only a matter of time before someone cast it in a precious metal (and yow, asked $165 for it).

I guess it would be great for your most formal geeky events, right?

Dial in Style With a Payphone Key Bracelet

The last time I used a payphone was a desperate time indeed - and I didn't love thinking about how icky the receiver and keys were when I was using it. I'd have no fear with the keys on this Payphone Bracelet ($62); though their origin is authentic, I'm sure they've been Purelled.

Recycling old keys into new bracelets is a pretty cool trend - maybe it's a bit premature for a Cell Phone Key Bracelet, but a Typewriter Key Bracelet is spot on.

What do you think of this upcycling accessory trend?

The Charm Bracelet a Vintage Geek Could Love

In all honesty, I've never really been a charm-bracelet girl. Even if I had been, I think I've outgrown the years I would have been enthusiastic about collecting the charms, and now I usually see bracelets that reflect a cell phone obsession I'm not comfortable with.

But this Typewriter Charm Bracelet - made of various keys from vintage typewriters - is too cool, and even for me, age appropriate. I would rock it so hard (and what if you could pick the letters? Magic!).

So cool it's sold out for now.

Gold Lego Studs: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?

Legos have completely infiltrated our wearables, something I don't mind at all. Not that I'll be wearing a Lego-print dress or anything anytime soon, but I love seeing how many different ways the toy blocks can be worked into clothes or accessories.

Which is why I can't hate these Gold Lego Studs ($6) - especially since they look like regular-old studs from far away! Look closely, and only then do you see the logo of Lego.

I like 'em, or at least like looking at 'em - what about you? Would you sport these in public?

Jeweled Bug Flash Drive Necklace: Love It or Leave It?

I've been seeing a bug trend lately in accessories, so it's kind of rad that this Jeweled Bug Flash Drive Necklace capitalizes on the trend, while doubling as a handy flash drive.

The 2GB $19 necklace is the latest in a surprisingly long line of USB necklaces, like the Crystal Rose USB Necklace and the I Heart U USB Necklace, which are also jeweled. They didn't have to be jeweled for me to notice them, but it doesn't hurt.

While I'm still torn about whether I need to keep my memory around my neck, I do kind of love the cute bug.

The Tetris Bracelet Is For the Disco Geek

So this geeky bracelet is not Hermès. It's also not $567.

Instead, this Tetris Bracelet ($70) is pretty cool and while exceptionally geeky, it's not unwearable.

Maybe it's the disco lover in me, but lucite jewelry always manages to charm me. All I need is the perfect outfit of primary colors to wear it with.

Camera Earrings Don't Need Batteries, Just Your Lobes

I am all for wearing gadgets as jewelry - well, mini versions anyway, like these Mini Camera Earrings. They're only 12 bucks and are a might more polished in silver than these Wooden Camera-Shaped Earrings.

I'm used to seeing cute little robot accessories, and there's even some that are nice enough to wear in public - which this Robo Necklace by Catherine Michiels definitely is. In fact, it's so nice, it's made of 14 karat gold, rubies, and diamonds, which conspire to make the $815 price tag.

I think it's rad that something so geeky is getting the gold treatment, but if you're dropping that kind of coin, would you want something a little more . . . timeless?
