Now consider a type of software that is capable of taking images from kindred communities, analyzing them for similarities, and grafting them together into an interactive three-dimensional space that puts the "networking" idea of some social sites to shame. Blaise Aguera y Arcas is an architect at Microsoft Live Labs, and the co-creator of Photosynth, a piece of software capable of assembling photos into a collection of zoomable, navigatable spaces.

Continuing on with our Geeks We Love interview series, I'd like to introduce you to Adam Pash, the editor of one of my all-time favorite blogs, Lifehacker. This past January, Adam took over the helm at Lifehacker when Gina Trapani stepped down from her position, and he's been doing an amazing job ever since. Aside from running a site that's filled with more productivity tips, organizational tools, and useful downloads than you can imagine, Adam has also co-authored the book How to Do Everything with Your iPhone and can be found whipping up helpful web applications of his very own.

As one of the producers of the upcoming anti-rom-com He's Just Not That Into You, Drew Barrymore was able to add some of her own dating experience to her character, Mary, whom we saw battling the many portals of technology a couple months ago in the trailer.
Pop had the chance to chat with Drew about the film (and the perhaps-future Charlie's Angel movie), and she admitted to being able to relate with Mary about the hurdles that tech presents in meeting people:
"My character in the movie is tech-savvy and tech-wary, and the wary part is all from me. I really wanted to inject that into the character.
