Singer and songwriter Lady Gaga — the queen of constant transformation with all of her outrageous outfits and intricate head accessories — has teamed up with Monster to debut her first pair of earphones.
Labeled "heartbeats," these in-ear headphones were designed by Lady Gaga herself and are said to be like no other headphones out there (not hard to believe, especially since they have her name attached to them!). And if the sound quality is anything comparable to the high-class Beats by Dr.

The fun, female surfwear company Roxy has just debuted its hot new audio collection, which includes chic little earbuds and brightly colored headphones. By teaming up with the home audio experts JBL, you can expect these new peripherals to offer killer sound quality and crisp audio. Roxy has already tapped into the electronics world with its fashionable speaker systems, so I won't be surprised if these take off with a big bang as well!

In my day, I've tested out my fair share of earphones. Oddly enough, I'm not one of those people that can wear Apple's standard earphones — call it abnormally shaped ears, I don't know, I just can't wear em'. I definitely have a top three list of earphones that rock my world, but the problem is, they are waaay too expensive.

I can't wait to tell lilsugar about my latest tech discovery — earphones designed with kids' ears in mind. The Loud Enough Earphones ($40) are targeted for kids aged eight and older and feature built-in sound pressure protection that decrease noise up to 40 percent (or 20 decibels). And with their isolation design, kids won't have to crank up the volume so loud when they're playing video games, watching movies, or listening to tunes.

After checking out Apple's teeny and tiny new iPod Shuffle yesterday I must admit that I did ooo and aww a bit, but mainly because of its ridiculously small size. I was picturing myself clipping it on my workout gear and going for runs or walks without having to worry about any cases or complicated contraptions. But wait, what about the earphones with the built-in controls that we all dislike so much?

It's been awhile since I've taken a pair of headphones or earphones for a test drive, so when my friends over at Etymotic Research sent me a pair of their latest hf5 fifth generation earphones, I instantly popped them in and turned-up my favorite playlist in iTunes.
As I've already discussed, Etymotic earphones are perfect for smaller earlobes since they come with an assortment of foam eartips for the perfect fit. They also offer noise isolation technology, so you will only hear your music and not surrounding sounds.
