Space Invaders Doormat: Love It Or Leave It?

Is it just me or are Space Invaders attacking the geekosphere? Last month we found a Space Invaders necklace, bag, baby mobile, sweater and even a hand knit hat. I don't have a child and I'm not sure how I feel about wearing my geek status on my neck, chest or head, so I must admit I quite like the Space Invaders Doormat. It seems like more fun than the Barcode Doormat anyway. Do you love it enough to put it on your doorstep?

What do you get the girl who already has a Space Invader Pillow, doormat, sweater and necklace? Well, a homemade Space Invader Cutting Board, of course. The creator of this masterpiece made two boards - one of which is still for sale - and plans on attempting a Triforce cutting board next. Oh to cut a geek cake on one of those!

It seems like 2007 was the year of Space Invader sundries. From pillows, doormats and sweaters to these Space Invader Rings from the Toy Me Milano collection.

I happen to love the rings because they elevate video game love to a whole new level - they are unique, artistic and, if you ask me, completely geek chic. What do you think?

Why go out into the world wide web in search of geek chic gear when some of it is living on the Technology and Gadgets channel on TeamSugar? eruntale recently found this fantastic Cojín de Space Invaders pillow and while I have to admit I didn't quite notice the actual Space Invader in the pattern initially, I've fallen in love with the thing. There's no contest as to whether or not it's more chic than the Space Invaders doormat or Space Invaders sweater, but is it more chic than geek?

Binary Code Pillow: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?

Okay, so maybe I have a thing for binary code housewares and jewelry. I first fell for the binary code doormat, then I fell for the silver and chic Fancy geek ring with a binary message.

While the binary code pillow, may be more dorm room chic than either of those items, I love it too. The pillow is 18" and comes in black with a matrix of green text on it. What's the codes message? Why, "Pillow" of course!
