Cool Download: Shareaholic for FireFox

You know me, I love to share tips, tricks, downloads, and news all day long, every day of the week, 24/7. I'm sharing right now as I type! You might even consider it an obsession.

So knowing that I could make it easier on myself when I want to submit links to my bookmarking or sharing sites like Digg, Reddit, and Twitter by using Shareaholic - an award winning Firefox add-on that works like a hub for all my social networking and bookmarking services. It sends out my favorite links in one shot without me having to copy or paste a thing.

Once you download Shareaholic, a green button appears on your browser, letting you customize which sites you want to send links to. When you come to a webpage you think is worthy, just click the green share button, select your service (i.e., StumbleUpon) and your link is copied and sent to the site for you, ready to submit. How easy is that?

Adorable Mark-My-Time Digital Bookmarks

Although these bookmarks may be targeted to the likings of kids, I personally think they were worth mentioning for us adults as well - and for all of you who are parents and want to help bring out the bookworm in your children! Father's Day Gift Guide: Part 2 (Reader's Choice)

Earlier this week I asked you to geek out and share what you are getting, or would like to get, your dad for Father's Day. The results of the mission suggest there are going to be a lot of happy dads out there this weekend.

Your top picks included digital cameras, video cameras, digital photo frames and even a Toshiba DVD/VCR combo. The gift I think 80 percent of Dad's would love is the Kensington Digital FM Transmitter/Auto Charger for iPod, which woodycakes bookmarked. It's $80 and will allow your dad to listen to his iPod in his car. Says woodycakes: "My dad already owns an iPod and because he's always in the car, he can't use his iPod properly." Also because it charges the iPod, "he won't have to charge his iPod when I'm using the laptop. Everyone's happy."

Geek Gear Roundup: Pink Gadgets for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Last week I pointed out the barrage of great pink items on the market right now in honor of the fact that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

It would be impossible for me to call out all the fantastic pink gizmos and gadgets that are giving a portion of their proceeds to breast cancer research, so I asked you readers to help me find the best items by bookmarking them.

You readers came up with some great finds, which are both cute and crucial to finding a cure. I like that the items range in price so you can do your part by purchasing Pink Post Its, $10, or the more flashy Polaroid A520 Pink digital camera, $80.

One of my favorite items is the 6GB Seagate Pink Pocket Hard Drive, which was bookmarked by glam sugar. When you buy the drive Seagate sends 10 percent of its $99 price to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

My friend is one of those girls who always has her camera in your face- especially when it's someone's birthday. To my dismay, she manages to lug around her ginormous old school 35mm manual cam as she refuses to make the leap to a digital (I know, I know)! Geek Out: I Need A New Camera

Last month my parent's borrowed my PowerShot SD600 digital camera when they took a day trip to the wine county in Napa and left it on a bench. Typical, right? They made up for it this week by finally remembering to give me a check so I can purchase the replacement for myself. The trouble is, now that Canon reported that the PowerShot SD has been overheating, I'm not sure I want to buy the same exact same model.

Come geek out with me and share all your favorite digital cameras, by using our new bookmarking feature! I'm looking for something that is:

Slender
Takes great pictures
Moderately simple to use
Costs less than $600

I generally only use the camera at night when I'm out on the town with my girlfriends, or at formal events like weddings and showers. I'd love to get something that's been approved by a real person, so I know it's geek worthy.

Make The Best Of Your Digital Photos

Despite the bajillions of online photo management and sharing sites that allow users to upload photos and create online archives, Flickr is still one of our favorites. The site is clean, easy to use and so long as you pay the yearly subscription fee of $25, offers fool proof options for organizing, geotagging and enjoying your photography.

The trouble is, the joy of trolling through your own photo archives and even your friends' collections can wear off pretty quickly. When you do get bored of leaving comments on your friend's bizarre outfits and goofy post bar night photo shoots, check out some of our favorite second party tools and applications that add a new element of fun and artistry to your digital photo browsing,

The selection is near endless: From Flickrvision (pictured at right), which is a mashup site that displays the pictures people across the world are posting on Flickr on a map, to the Flicker Related Tag Browser, which offers a beautiful display of images and image tags related to your search.
