Definition: Blog Burnout Guilt

If you've ever started a blog post with the words "Hey all, I know it's been a long time since my last post . . . " and feel the need to explain why you haven't been posting, then you've experienced blog burnout guilt. It's a condition that generally occurs after you have run out of time/ideas/inspiration for your blog, and you feel the need to update your audience as to the reasons for your disappearance.

Similarly, you may also be experiencing Twitter burnout guilt, in which you really want to update your Twitter, but just can't seem to find 140 characters clever enough to make up for your absence.

Definition: We-Mail

Noun. The joint venture that is a couple using a single email address, i.e., "janeandjohn@gmail.com".

Can be the primary email address for the couple, or in addition to their personal email addresses.

Usage: "I can't believe Jane and John have one email address. I never pegged them as a We-Mail couple."

Sometimes they're so jumbled that you keep getting them wrong, and sometimes they're unintentionally hilarious.

Definition: Googleganger

Similar to a doppelganger, who is your physical twin, a Googleganger is someone "with the same name as you whose records and/or stories are mixed in with your own when you Google yourself."

True story: When I started dating my boyfriend, he Googled me, only to find someone with the same name as me who wrote awful amateur love poetry. Luckily, he liked me enough to see past the terrible poems - at least until he told me he saw my poems, and I explained that I merely had a Googleganger!
