I'm accustomed to seeing computer keys that are transformed into pieces of jewelry - like the glass tile key pendant and the computer key rings - but Shift Key Earrings with blue hearts? Wow, now that's a combo! Brought to you by Etsy user thelovelyteaspoon, these 2.5-inch long earrings will definitely turn heads, but I don't think they'd look particularly geek-chic on my head. A young pre-teen would be the perfect candidate for rocking these, and for only $7, who cares if she loses one!

I know that this long list looks scary, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, it'll be a snap the second time around.

First of all, join the Cell Phone Bling Group
Click "Create and Share!" on the left hand side
Choose "Blog"
Give your photo a Title
Leave the category as "general"
Change the channel to "technology and gadgets"
Add keyword(s) (for example mine for this photo was "Cell Phone Bling")
Click on the "Add Image" link below the "body" box
A popup window will happen - click on "Browse" to find your image on your computer
Once you have the image chosen, click "Submit"
The popup will show you your image, choose size: "normal" - if you want, you can give it a title (which will show up as a caption)
Click "Insert" and the popup will go away
Your "body" box will now have some text in it. Leave it as is. If you want to add some text before the picture, do it before the code that has appeared.
Click Submit

iPhone Lust + Tiffany Jewelry = iGems?

I like to think of myself as an expert when it comes to geek jewelry, mostly because I feel like I've seen it all. From Computer Key Rings, to Mike and Maaike's "Stolen Jewels," the market seems endless, but often lacking that truly chic luxury item mystique. The release of the iPhone makes all the iPod jewelry look like last season's rejects, so we decided to create a couple faux iPhone jewelry pieces for you to drool, joke and daydream about. I mean, people are willing to throw down $600 for a tiny wifi-enabled iPod/phone combo. Toss in some gems, platinum, gold and Tiffany & Co. and Apple-branding and these babies would sell like, well iPhones, am I right? I mean, it may be silly, but if it came in a little blue box...

Trend: USB Fragrance Dispensers?

Dare I wonder if the USB Fragrance Dispenser is a new trend in geek ware? The Aroma USB is a "real working USB device," only instead of storage, the disk holds scents from oils that will supposedly improve the aroma around your computer/gadget with a USB port. The makers market the device as being able to "give your high tech gadgets a sensuous touch."

The dispenser comes in lavender, rose and jasmine scents and just about any color you can think of. You can also connect it to a lanyard, neck strap or key ring. I am naturally skeptical of most novelty USB items, and I'm sensitive to odd smells so this one kinda creeps me out. Does anyone think they'd use it? If so, I want to hear your case!
