As much as I'd like to follow Gizmodo's lead by calling the Clique Hue HD Webcam a "colorful porncam," I think I'll keep this one clean and suggest some other uses for this stylish webcam. For those of you who were fans of the stick figure Sony speakers, I'm sure you'll love this webcam as well, as it boasts a similar simplistic design. The Hue can be used to chat with friends or family online in its base or plugged directly into your laptop. It also comes with a 1.3MPX sensor, a built-in mic, noice reduction technology and a one-touch snapshot button for still shot pics. Choose from a variety of colors to suit your personal needs! Priced at $80 after the introductory discount. If you're using it for porn that's your business - not mine.

If you regularly go out to eat during your lunch hour, there are some basic dos and don'ts that you should keep in mind. We've already covered the etiquette basics for bringing your lunch to work, but if you prefer buying your lunch to packing it, stay professional and mind your manners by following these tips.

Communicate your whereabouts. When you plan to leave the office for lunch, let your co-workers know how long you'll be gone - especially those who report to you. Leave a note on your desk or update your IM status to keep your officemates in the loop.
Steer clear of cliques. Lunch dates are a great way to build friendly relationships with your co-workers, but don't be exclusive with the invites. Try to include different people - even those in other departments - to avoid playing favorites. Even better? Ask the new girl to join to help her feel welcome.
Stick to nearby neighborhoods. There's no need to travel across town for your midday meal, so stay close to your office when you decide to dine out. Tired of eating the same foods each week? Take the time to do some research and make a list of nearby places you'd like to try, then ask your co-workers to contribute their favorites.
Keep your eyes on the clock. Just because it's called a lunch hour doesn't mean you should take a full 60 minutes to finish your meal. Check your watch frequently to stay on schedule, or set an alarm to let you know when it's time to head back to the office.

8 Things You Shouldn't Do at Your Company Holiday Party

It's that time of the year again when the people at your company get together for a little holiday shindig. If you go about it the right way, your annual office party can be a great time for you to meet people in your company that you've always wanted to get to know better. In fact, a Forbes article mentioned that the party can raise your visibility in your company and lead to a promotion down the line. Just make sure you don't commit any of these office party faux pas:

Get way too drunk. You're allowed to have some alcohol, but make sure you pace and limit yourself. If you want to know how much you can drink, Grub Street has a neat infographic that cites the right amount of liquor each type of employee should imbibe.
Stick to your tribe. If you already belong to a clique in the office, use the party as an opportunity to stray away from the pack. After all, you see those familiar faces all the time. Who knows? You may develop great new friendships outside of your circle.
Talk about work the whole time. Seriously, don't talk about the broken copy machine or how much work you're going to have to do when you get into the office tomorrow. Try to think of nonwork topics to lighten the mood. Talking about the daily grind may seem second nature to you when you're around colleagues, but it can stress people out because it's reminding them of work.
Gossip or complain. Don't be a debbie downer and moan about work or talk about the latest office gossip. People can easily overhear what you're saying so you might want to save your personal comments for another time.

Halloween Costume Idea: Winona Ryder in Heathers

The costume: Veronica Sawyer
In the 1988 cult classic Heathers, Winona Ryder (as Veronica) portrays a teen who, along with her completely demented boyfriend (played by Christian Slater), goes on a rampage to end the cruel ways of a popular clique at school. These three girls, of course, are all named Heather, hence the film's title.

Hair and makeup: Blow it up Veronica-style and wear the memorable look Winona Ryder sported at the end of the film; you know, right after her man sets a bomb off on himself. Wear a medium-length, brunette bobbed wig and tease it out with a comb to re-create Veronica's disheveled hairstyle. Don't forget to apply fake blood and ashy-toned eye shadow to your face so that you look like you've just been to hell and back.

What to wear: It's '80s style to the max: an oversize blue t-shirt, short plaid skirt, gray cardigan, and black tights and flats. (See it in full here.)

Take it to the next level: Walk around with a cigarette to show how tough you really are, and slap a red scrunchie in your hair. Be sure to say, "Heather my love, there's a new sheriff in town," as an homage to Veronica's gutsy (albeit crazy) actions.
