I can't help but smile when I look at this gadget. It's cute and funny and perfectly geeky - not to mention totally useful.

Charging stations are becoming more and more ubiquitous - their advantage being the organization they provide. So why not apply the idea to a time when you really need to be organized - when you're on the road traveling?

The Name Says It All: Bluelounge's Refresh Charging Station

In case you haven't noticed, I have a thing for charging stations. I just can't get enough of 'em. Call it my OCD for cable management, or the fact that between my boyfriend and I combined, we have more gadgets than a small country, but I love a nice and neat desk where my gadgets can refresh and recharge. This is why I love Bluelounge's Refresh charging station. Coming in three colors (black, white and pink), the Refresh boasts mini and micro USB cables, and has room for five of your most coveted gadgets: iPod, BlackBerry, iPhone, camera, or whatever you need juiced up.

Although I have much love for this simple and stylish charging station, I do have a gripe: the $90 price tag. Whoa? Whoa is right. Sure, this baby keeps all your cords out of sight and managed, but how much are you willing to pay for a sleek pink plastic box? Ponder that, my friends.

Tree of Charge: Love It or Leave It?

Is the Tree of Charge a novelty charging station, or a brilliant piece of practical art?

Not unlike the Grass Charging Station, Radius's tree (about $98) uses an organic motif for a modern need - a place to store and organize charging gadgets.

The tree's branches also accommodate plenty of other little accessories you dispense with when you come home, like keys and jewelry, so its footprint ends up being less about gadgets and more about organization in general.

What do you think of the tree? Clever and useful, or would you stick to inexpensive or DIYed hubs?

West Elm's New Charging Station Gets Shrunk

West Elm makes one of the best looking charging stations, in my opinion, but it, like many docks, just takes up too much space. Many of us often don't even charge more than one or two gadgets at a time, rendering it wasted space even.

Brilliantly, West Elm's new station, the Mini Docking Station ($34) has a much teenier footprint.

It fits two small gadgets perfectly, and even has the lacquered looks of its bigger brother.

Crate and Barrel's New Charging Station: Love It or Leave It?

One of my favorite places to shop for my apartment, Crate and Barrel, has come out with its own charging station - and to my delight, it's both simple and attractive, but at $45, it also doesn't break the bank.

For a charging station that doesn't look like crap, that's definitely a reasonable price, considering some Pottery Barn stations have been known to skyrocket to almost $200!

I like the dark wood exterior and achingly simple design, but it might be too basic for some people. Does it do anything for you?
