I don't think it's a stretch to say I'm a leading expert in celebrity cell phone knowledge - what can I say, just makin' my parents proud. What with regular celeb cell phone matchups and cell phone evolution roundups, I've diligently studied handsets in Hollywood and from iPhones to BlackBerrys I know who is using what. I still have yet to pimp my crib with lots of
digital photo frames. Why? Because I still like the idea of filling my wood frames with original prints. Nonetheless, I'm all about giving them as gifts, load em' up with pics and your grandparents will love you forever!

It looks like Rebecca Romijn has already gone digital with her new picture frame. She couldn't help but pose with her gift, which she's powering-up via her car to display her beautiful pics. And if you look closely, you'll notice that the frame is displaying a lovely picture of her and her hubby Jerry O'Connell!

Paris has sure had a gadget-filled month, although I'm sure this phone tops her cell phone favorites list. So many great features are wrapped up in this adorable handheld smartphone. With web browsing, a 2-megapixel camera, a media player with microSD memory support, a QWERTY keyboard, and VZ Navigator for spoken turn–by–turn directions, you can't help but get excited about this fashionably functional phone . . . Gossip Girl Website Gets Gadget Makeover

You've probably noticed I've fallen for Gossip Girl, a show that combines fashionable and chic clothes with spiffy gadgets and quality teen drama. Of course, it's about an anonymous blogger (narrated by the fabulously geeky Kristen Bell), who details the scandals and adventures of a group of wealthy New York City teenagers on her website. I was checking out the Gossip Girl website in preparation for tonight's episode and I realized it's all decked out with gadgets and gizmos from the show. While it's partially an advertising stint (the show, website and show's commercial breaks are filled with Verizon phones), I am intrigued that a show with that demographic is pushing the gadgets so intently. It begs the question, do TV shows and celebrity endorsements prompt you to buy certain devices, or do they just offer you a chance to check them out?

Gossip Girl's Second Life Secret

While we've been enjoying the stylish fashions and gadgets on Gossip Girl - and the fact that the show is about a blogger! - some fans have started enjoying Gossip Girl's neighborhood in Second Life experience called "The Upper East Side."

In case you didn't know, Second Life is a 3D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents. It opened to the public in 2003, and is now "inhabited" by millions of residents from around the globe. The Upper East Side community allows you to build and customize your avatar, have a dance party with friends, play games, watch clips and full episodes of the show. From what I can tell, it's much like the Virtual Worlds MTV has set up for shows like The Hills, Newport Harbor and Laguna Beach, only it exists in the Second Life platform.

The virtual Gossip Girl world looks like the set of the television show, with the same streets, the same hot spots, and even the same characters. To try it out you just need to download the software, go through a brief orientation, and start your "second life." Who knew geek was so chic?

Beyonce Unveils the New 'B'Phone' by Samsung

The beautiful Beyonce was out in full force today launching the special edition Beyonce Upstage phone. The new "B'Phone" by Samsung is similar to the Ultra Music Phone in that it features the popular dual-face handset which everyone seems to be taking a liking to.

What's unique about this phone is the fact that it includes a digital power amp, making the sound quality quite impressive for such a small phone. Other great features include a quick PC sync to easily create playlists, a 1.3-megapixel camera and bluetooth technology.

Wondering where Beyonce fits into all of this? The UpStage will come preloaded with Beyonce content and new B'Phone owners will receive access to load video and music content from Sprint.com including exclusive Beyonce photo gallery and videos, as well as a childhood song from Beyonce when she was 10.

This hot new burgundy and gold cell is said to hit Sprint and Wal-Mart stores on November 4.

Clooney Is A BlackBerry and a Mac Guy

You'd think by the way George Clooney is carrying his MacBook Pro in these pictures that he has quite the love/hate relationship with his gadgets-don't do it George, don't drop it! Is his stylin' messenger bag not big enough to hold his laptop? Given the fact he was on the way back to his hotel after filming in NYC, I'm not going to give him a hard time about not protecting the goods. Heck, I always leave work carrying my laptop in my arms. At least he's not trying to pull a Pete Doherty who likes to walk and videotape at the same time with his MacBook! I'm sure he loves the fact that his MacBook Pro has some serious power, is great for editing photos and videos and only weighs about 5-6 pounds-talk about a major upgrade from his 1933 BlackBerry!

We've all seen David Beckham's new sharp Motorola RAZR2 ads, which feature Becks showing off his RAZR2 in a chic suit, but who really wants Becks or his phone when his shirt is on? Motorola's Korean site has released some saucy pics of our favorite celebrity gadget endorser showing off his new phone in all his shirtless, tattooed glory. They've also created a fun "Becoming Becks" flash feature that I can't understand, but I can totally appreciate. Did I mention the RAZR2 is now available in the US? I may have been overwhelmed by his beauty.

Celebrity Gadget: Scarlett Johansson's Leica M8 Camera

When Molly noticed Scarlett Johansson has been working both in front and behind the camera for an untitled Woody Allen movie in Barcelona, I wondered what kind of camera the starlet has been using.

My investigation team - made up of camera geek YumSugar and myself - concluded that it must be the uber chic Leica M8.

The model, which is a digital version of the company's famous M camera, was recently released in Europe and is sold in silver and black. It is known for using the analog Leica M system for sophisticated and creative digital photography and features a low-noise CCD image sensor with a resolution of 10.3 megapixels that has been specifically matched to the compact lens design.

Clearly, professional cameras come with a hefty price tag. This one costs $4,795 on Amazon.

Jessica Alba Talks About Being A Video Game Character

Her past as Dark Angel and current role as Sue Storm from the Fantastic Four movie and video game makes Jessica Alba a TV, movie and video game star. Of course the recent return to her role as Sue Storm for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, meant more body scans and geeky gaming meetings for the movie's video game. Word is Jessica worked closely with Activision, the creators of the game, to make it more realistic and hopes to become even more involved with the gaming industry.

She recently gave Yahoo's Celebrity Bytes the low down about her love of games, what she thinks of the industry, how she thinks the Wii can help kids combat obesity and what it feels like to see your body and face translated via a gaming console. Here's more:

What role do you see video games playing today in Hollywood?
I think games play an important role in movies. It's all entertainment. It's all fantasy, and it's a way for people to connect to the movie by living vicariously through the characters in the video game. It's a great role-playing experience. I've had a go or two at 007 and there's a part of me that likes to pretend that I'm James Bond.
What do you think of what they can do with video games today?
The graphics are insane. They're so real. I grew up playing Bomberman and Pac-Man and Super Mario Brothers and Zelda, where you had just this little guy who could barely walk and the music was like doot... doot... doot. And the way they walked was so stiff and robotic. And now the game characters look like people moving around. It's a similar technology to what we use in Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. We now know how to make films that are completely animated and computer-generated, and convincingly real.
Have you seen yourself in the video games you've worked on in the past?
I have seen myself in video games, like in Dark Angel or the first Fantastic Four game. It's weird. It doesn't seem like me, but it is. It's totally weird. It's like having an action figure. It's super cool, but it's like, there's no way this is real. You know they do body scans and everything to make the game characters look as much like you as they can. It's completely cool and bizarre.

You mentioned recently getting the Nintendo Wii - what do you like about it?
I think the physicality of the Wii gets people off the couch. Sometimes you can just sit there playing a video game for hours and never move and you're brain is just zapped from playing the game. With the Wii, you're up on your feet and moving around. The physical aspect of it is great, especially for kids. They actually call it the Wii Diet, since active players can burn calories!

Hey, whatever works. Obesity is ridiculous with kids today in our country. Anything that helps is great. You know, West Virginia is using Dance Dance Revolution in all schools as part of P.E. I know a lot of public school programs don't even have P.E. these days. That's crazy. It wasn't even an option when I was a kid. What the heck! I remember climbing up the rope, doing the mile run and all of that stuff.

John Mayer Gets His BlackBerry Curve On

Apparently when he's not busting his comedic chops or cutting his hair John Mayer likes to keep his guitar and BlackBerry Curve at close distance.

John's love for AT&T's new tiny device may have something to do with the fact that BlackBerry is the official sponsor of the John Mayer Summer Tour. Right now the BlackBerry website is offering a plethora of cute John ads that show off his new do, tour dates and behind-the-scenes content (the video isn't up yet, but I hear it's coming soon).

I'm not usually a huge Mayer fan, but right now I'm not sure who to swoon over more - the phone or John. I guess I'll settle for both.

Ladies Love The New Sidekick iD

Pop caught Adam Brody at the T-Mobile SIDEKICK iD Launch in Hollywood and I noticed there was an unusual number of ladies out to celebrate the event as well - making me wonder if the new Sidekick will be the more feminine counterpart to the limited edition Dwayne Wade Sidekick 3. The iD certainly has the whole pretty and pastel thing going for it in these photos, but from what I hear you can actually customize the cover and make it whatever color you want. Jenna Jameson and Kelly Monaco showed their love for it by doing the "here's my sexy pose with the phone" move that's become popular on the gadget red carpets.

T-Mobile is marketing the Sidekick iD as an "entry level edition of its popular 'BlackBerry' for the young and hip," reports Smart Phone Today. The new Sidekick is the same size and shape of the $200 Sidekick 3, it has a few less features and is only $100. Unfortunately, there's no camera, Bluetooth or MP3 Player on this model, but you have the bonus of being able to customize the exterior.

Celebrity Gadget: Alicia Keys' Samsung Camcorder

It seems Alicia Keys was more interested in watching the Minnesota Timberwolves play the New York Knicks Game at Madison Square Garden through her tiny Samsung Camcorder last week than watching say, the court.

From what I can tell the songstress has got herself a 2.1 Mega Pixel Miniket Camcorder with built-in 1 GB.

The Miniket allows you access to personal movies, pictures, music, data, web communication and costs $1,599 off the Samsung site. I can't help but notice it looks like Alicia has a gold camcorder, which may or not be some sort of "unattainable for us non-celebrity gadget lovers" edition. Beyonce Is The New Face Of Samsung Electronics

We already know that celebs like Jennifer Garner, Britney, LC, Jennifer Aniston, Fergie and Jessica Simpson are constantly attached to their cell phones and PDAs, but this is a rare sight- Beyonce actually holding a cell phone that is (gasp) connected to an earpiece? No the paparazzi didn't catch Beyonce out for an afternoon stroll. The real reason she's all wired up is because she just landed a deal with Samsung electronics and is shown here filming the first commercial in NYC. Gadget Universe Goes Hollywood

Surprisingly, the celebrity gadget endorsements hit an all time low this week, as the Oscars opted not to pass out the famous gift bags. Still, La La land wasn't without geek gift suites - the Gadget Universe debuted what its makers are calling "one of the most innovative vehicle protection devices for celebrities" - a Spion Vehicle Safeguard video recording device that you can place on your dashboard or in the back of your car so you can catch all those pestering photographers following you. Or, if your name is Brooke Hogan, your dad can install it so he can keep tabs on you around the clock.

The device uses three AAA batteries and records onto an SD card up to 2GB, giving you four hours of total record time that can be transferred to your computer. Apparently, Kathy and Rick Hilton stopped by the Gadget Universe booth and Kathy expressed the value of having such a device for their daughter, Paris, who is constantly surrounded by the media.
