For all of you BlackBerry owners, I'm sure you're well aware of BlackBerry Messenger (BBM). Basically what it is, is IM right on your phone in real time. Unlike SMS, messages are free since they are sent through RIM servers, just like email.

The BlackBerry Curve 8320 will be heading to T-Mobile stores by the end of this month. With wifi, full QWERTY keyboard, microSD support, a 2-megapixel camera, and weighing in at only 3.9 ounces, this will definitely be a hot new phone on the market.
It can also connect to T-Mobile’s HotSpot@Home for home phone calls and supports MyFaves, AIM, Yahoo!, ICQ, MSN, Google Talk and Blackberry Messenger.

You'd think by the way George Clooney is carrying his MacBook Pro in these pictures that he has quite the love/hate relationship with his gadgets—don't do it George, don't drop it! Is his stylin' messenger bag not big enough to hold his laptop? Given the fact he was on the way back to his hotel after filming in NYC, I'm not going to give him a hard time about not protecting the goods.

Perhaps, the better question is, will you use WiFi in your car? The New York Times reported that Wi-Fi Is Hitting the Road in Cars From Avis, and while they suspect some bumps along the road, the implications of mobile WiFi access are tremendous.
According to the Times:
Autonet Mobile, a start-up wireless technology company based in San Francisco, is expected to announce this week that it has reached an agreement with Avis Rent A Car System to provide a rolling Wi-Fi hotspot to Avis customers by March.
